Customer service and quality here can’t be beat. I needed a custom profile for flashing a super-insulated foundation and Kellen came through for me where the big box stores fell short. I am already looking forward to ordering my window flashings from them.

I read the other reviews before I went to this place. I saw Laura's and Trygg's one star reviews, and I thought--ahhh, that guy is probably gone by now--BUT Nope---when I entered the office, it took me about 10 seconds to realize this must be the guy they were talking about. He is exceptionally rude, arrogant---a nasty man. The other positive reviews must not have had to deal with him.

Absolutely DO NOT use Anchorage Sheet Metal & Custom Fabrication. I tried to get a simple estimate for some corrugated metal, with the potential of it being cut next day, but the man behind the front desk was beyond rude and condescending. I drove down there after speaking with him on the phone (where he was also rude), but was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. When I got there to show him a picture of what I was looking to recreate, his response was “I’m NoT vErY gOoD wItH pIcTuReS.”

WHAT?! I explain to him that the size of my project is going to depend on the costs of the sheets, and ask for a low/high estimate of buying a singular sheet up to whatever amount is needed for a bulk discount. He doubles down and says I need an exact number. I say 10. He says no, that’s not good enough because I’ll need more than that.

It was a lot of back and forth, a lot of unprofessionalism. There was a second worker who stepped in and tried to help and seemed like a nice guy, but the miserably grumpy front desk guy told him to go away.

He made a bunch of other weird statements like “I know you’re smarter than me, I can just tell.” And “I only have a 5th grade education so you do the math”.

Maybe they do good work, maybe they don’t, but that front desk guy was absolutely insufferable.

These guys are not interested in anything but large commercial work. After telling the owner what I was looking for he actually said “you’re not worth my time” and essentially kicked me out of the front office. Save your time and go ANYWHERE else!
