This is by far the worst internet I have ever had to use, even in a small town. It is completely unreliable, and if you dare to try to use more than one device, good luck. The speeds are terrible, the service goes out more than once a week, and the price is not worth the trouble it gives us. If there was another option that didn't require $400 to start, we would have switched immediately. DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE UNLESS IT IS YOUR ONLY OPTION.

Our Internet with Plumas Sierra Telecommunications service is never down, speed is fast, and the bill comes in my email in a timely manner. The cost has not increased since we began with PST, so I can have autopay set up on my bank for our monthly paymets. It is so easy.

PST has consistently been on their game. I have fiber in Cromberg and I’ve never had any issues. I recently bumped up my speeds for working from home and the throughput is awesome. I get about 250 down and 50 up. Anytime I’ve had any questions and called their offices in Delleker they have been helpful and professional even if they were not able to find an immediate answer. Over the 8 years I have had services with Plumas Sierra Telecommunications they have worked diligently to improve and identify shortfalls in their networks as they move into the small communities in the area. PST is one of the reasons I haven’t left the area.

I've only had to call them a couple times, set up and to change my name recently (which is a great thing in my opinion). No issues with my service connectivity. Every time I've talked with someone on the phone they've been very fast, efficient and helpful in providing accurate information and thanking me for using their service. Not changing providers any time soon as long as we are in the area. Thanks!

I used to have digital-path...a competing company. After numerous outages and episodes...I made the switch to PST. I started with broadband and recently upgraded to fiber optic. HANDS DOWN...no comparison. No outages or issues and way faster. PST all the way. My girlfriend is not in PST's coverage area and had to SETTLE for the other company. My bill is LESS than hers is and I have faster speeds and no issues. I recommend PST to everybody.

EDIT 3: 4/19/2024 No improvement in 4 months. My Starlink's upload is faster than my download was with these jokers. Also somehow my ping is lower with satellites. Good job....

If you like buffering videos and using your mobile hotspot for gaming then this is the service for you. Download is fine most of the time but upload hardly works. This garbage makes me miss my AT&T dsl.

EDIT: 1 year later and if I could give zero stars I would.
EDIT: 12/11/2023 Just got off the phone with the local tech guy and was told my package was not fast enough to game online. YOU OFFER 1 PACKAGE. Starlink it is.
