Although the reasons I came into the purview of the DAs office were horrific, and one I wouldn’t wish on anyone else, despite the circumstances, I still had the privilege of experiencing the dedicated efforts of the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, and I must commend them for their unwavering commitment to justice and support for victims. As a survivor, I can attest to the genuine empathy and advocacy they extend to those who have faced traumatic experiences.

The team at the Placer County District Attorney’s Office operates within the confines of existing laws, navigating the legal landscape with expertise and diligence. Despite these challenges, they consistently go above and beyond to ensure that victims and their families receive the attention and support they deserve.

From my personal interactions, it is evident that the staff genuinely cares about the well-being of survivors. Their compassionate approach, coupled with a determination to uphold justice, creates an atmosphere of trust and support.

In a world where navigating the legal system can be daunting, the Placer County District Attorney’s Office stands out as a beacon of hope and resilience. My experience with them has been instrumental in my healing journey, and I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of compassionate and effective advocacy.

This is long overdue, but I have to write this. About two years ago, I was involved in a domestic violence case. I have never been victim of any kind of crime. It was life-changing and unbearable. I had tried to seek help from so many people, and I felt that my voice was unheard. That was until Holly the district attorney of my case stepped in. I felt the system had failed me until I met Holly. I cannot say how grateful and thankful I am for the support that I received from the DAs office as well as Michelle my Victim Advocate. They were with me throughout the entire trial. It was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done in my life.
Watching Holly and having the privilege to see her work in the court room and the passion she has for helping others, and getting justice for me is some thing that helped me heal so much. There is good and bad in the justice system this I know, but I am grateful that I found these two women that helps me every step of the way to get Justice for what has happened. Thank you Holly and Michelle for standing with me till the end I will forever be grateful for both of you❤️

When dealing with complex challenges I know not to expect miracles. Sometimes you may not like hearing the facts, but personnally I don't like surprises. They have been kind, excellent in preparing me for best, worse case scenios and extremely supportive. I have engaged with 5 different people in the Department including two DA's, all of which have been top notch.

Every single day, hundreds of people in this county walk right out of stores with merchandise in their hands without paying for the goods. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax money are lost every month because the DA and the state refuse to prosecute. Thousands of people have left this county for other states because the DA has no spine and is incredibly soft on crime.

Words can not convey how unimpressed I am with these people.
