Had my first Apple Ale here. While I will not be having another (not that it was bad, just not my cup of tea) the brewery looks like a great place to visit for an evening of fun. There are plenty of places to sit and games to entertain. The grounds and tap room are clean and well kept. I highly recommend!

Traveled to Apple Hill for good fresh food, just to get frozen pizza, tri-tip, and salad does taste very fresh. With no substitutions on the overpriced food. What more is there to love!

This place has been a wonderful escape from the Sacramento area for my wife and I for many years. This last trip up was no exception! The beer and cider options are fantastic! The staff is always incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! They really make it such a relaxing and chill way to enjoy the peacefulness of the area. And now that they've finished the inside seating area, this place will be even more enjoyable during the colder and rainy months! The crowlers are always a great gift and a hit when we bring them back for family!

Great spot for a warm day outside with a beer. The beer is decent but the variety isn't great. My favorite was their Vanilla stout.

The shining start of Jack Russell is the huge outdoor space. It's worth a stop if you're in the area.

Such a fun brewery to enjoy so to friends. They’re known for mixing beers (at your request), so a friend recommended I try the tangerine ale and vanilla stout. It was delicious and tasted like orange creamsicle. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area again.

Great brewery and great beers. They seem to focus on making solid, classic beers in a variety of styles, as opposed to a ton of experimental beers, and it shows in the quality of the beers they produce. Don't miss their IPA, Red Ale, Pale Ale, or Stout (those were our favorites). They do offer some interesting fruit beers (their tangerine beer is especially delicious). Kid and dog friendly, they sell small snacks (bags of nuts and chips) but no onsite food. Very nice facility with plenty of seating and shade/umbrellas. Well worth the drive from Sacramento!

How have I not known about this place! It has been around since 1995....lol so have I 😃. Amazing place! Go say hi to Mikey - he makes amazing food...tacos are legit and must be respected!
