What a wonderful place to shop! Jamal, the owner, is very friendly and intent on providing a high level of customer service. He will ask how you are and will even order a particular item for you if he can. The food is high quality and they have almost anything you need for your house. They have convenient parking so it's easy to get in and out of the market. It also feels wonderful to support a small business whose owner lives in Oakland instead of giving money to a larger chain.
