I think I just had my last visit to WW in Lake Placid. Been coming here for years because it's close and they usually have what I need, but there has always been a certain level of nonsense to put up with here.....people smoking right outside the front door, older employees loudly cursing, and high-school age employees giggling and horsing around. The other day I came in and the girl behind the counter was getting her hair braided by another girl who apparently thinks she's a boy. Now I don't need my visit to the hardware store to be a formal event, but I also don't want to feel like I just stepped into a double wide in some run down trailer park. I don't know if this place hires on nepotism or what, but a basic level of customer service is really not that difficult.

Anthony has great service was helping multiple customers before he helped me for what I needed. and his partner just watching and I started asking the guy some questions and he didn’t know a thing. His name is kevin and doesn’t want to do a thing even though he’s new you still have to try

Trying to support local business, Nice store well stocked can be cluttered. Also I understand rural prices but $9.00 for 1x4x8 pine strip. The evil big box is only $3.22.

Nice folks. Never a problem for 10 years. Have everything I need. Beats driving to Sebring. Plus it is .5 miles from home. I could walk there if my knees were good. Only problem is they keep trying to give this old Vet a discount. I didn’t fight for this Country for reason but PATRIOTISM!! 🙂
