ZERO STARS for Worthington Millwork website. CON ARTIST ALERT. This LOSER company is a BIG TIME RIPOFF AND A TOTAL SCAM!!! Glad to hear some people getting their money back from these thieves. Don't believe the 5 star reviews they are fake. Notice that all the newer reviews are super BAD, that tells you something is very WRONG. They tried scamming us too but we filed a claim dispute thru our credit card and we were refunded our money back close to $2200.00. We were lucky but in reading all these complaints we feel law enforcement or legal reps needs to get involved and shut these crooks down. This company is not BBB accredited and they have an "F" rating. They are not even answering all the complaints submitted to the Better Business Bureau. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SO CALLED COMPANY. Just Google their shady rundown location.

I assumed these reviews before me were not true, especially since my order was going to be a simple one. 10 qty newel post caps. I ordered and paid for the caps 2 months ago with a 2-3 week delivery time. This is really a sad story because it's such a simple request. These guys just steal your money. I will be filing a small claims case against Worthington in Enterprise, AL, if they're even a real company that is.

I just purchased 8 interior and 3 exterior fiberglass columns for a custom home I am building. I found that Chris Tarrants of Worthington Millwork is great to work with. Not only was his bid (against others) more timely, it was more reasonable, and the products are as good as you can buy. Chris worked with me to get me the right product for my need, and was knowledgeable about applications for his product, and correct sizing of the product. Column proportions are important, and I feel I have had the best coordination possible by working with Chris. The first part of the order that arrived was spectacular and beyond my expectations. I can't wait for the completed order. The personal service he provided especially in this day and age was truly refreshing. After this experience I would not even consider looking any where else for this type of product.

SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!! Be advised that your charge will post on your credit card as the Worthington Christian School in Galena, OH. I always look at BBB reports before I order but for some reason I didn't do it with this company. It's not a big order but like all the others they have ripped off they have done so to me as well. Phone just rings then goes busy. No one answers emails. BBB has given them an F. I have placed complaints with BBB, PayPal, Shopify and my credit card company. Now I'll wait and see if anything can be done. I just find it odd that considering the depth of their website that this is not a private company and the money would go to a Christian school in Ohio. Guess the school is a scam also.
UPDATE - 8/18/23 - My credit card company got my money back. Yay Bank of America! BBB sent a letter to the company and dropped it there. PayPal deferred to my credit card company. Shopify did nothing.

Like many reviews here, I too placed an order with Chris and was somewhat pleased with his knowledge. Ordered and paid as requested. At first Chris was accommodating and responsive to calls. Much later material was delivered from a truck with no tailgate or dolly. Imagine (8) 8x8x12porch support columns, newel posts, top and bottom rails, 120 balustrades and all the other pieces to complete redoing my porch...the weight and no way to get off truck. They had to take truck back to warehouse and put in another truck with a lift gate. This driver was very helpful and with 5 men unloaded truck. Boxes were checked for damage and damaged product was noted and I called Chris/Kyle. They said they would reorder and finally I got those parts. Finally after my carpenter was able to resume work on my project and reached the stage of assembly for newel posts, we found they were not straight recessed panels like the support columns were. Called again and we're told they would reorder. That pretty much ended customer service at their end. Would not answer calls and correct materials never received. I finally gave up and said if this company needs my money that badly you from an 81year old woman then enjoy it. I called Haas and got the name of another distributor, had my carpenter place the order one week ago on the 18th, I believe and 1 week later the materials were delivered. The distributor was AMERICAN PORCH and I have nothing but praise for them. Worthington You are not a company one can depend on and you have pathetic customer service. BEWARE IF YOU DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. CONSIDER YOURSELF FORTUNATE IF YOU ARE SATISFIED.

Like the many reviews that are posted here, I find myself with the same experience of placing an order of 9 columns (fiberglass too), and had waited and waited for more than 5 months. We placed the order back in May of 2022, and now it's October. I've made do many calls to them, asking about the order status and each time no satisfactory answer was given.

I was patient as I know that during COVID there's a lot of drawbacks. However, with this many attempts to try to talk to the COO and not even having an answer is not acceptable. The company really needs to learn that customer service is key in helping people, despite of these difficult times. How hard can it be to just say, I'm sorry but we have a drawback we will be glad to refund your money and here's your reference? For me, I didn't even get a confirmation of the refund. After patiently waiting for an answer on the columns for several months, I called in to cancel and that's all the information that I got.

Beware of ordering, don't order from this company.

Do not purchase from this company. Ordered column covers and paid over $10,000 upfront a year ago. Still no column covers nor a refund. Spoken with a Myra, Kyle and Chris and promised a refund, now they don't answer the phone. Scam Alert

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. We placed an order back on 12/7/22. I made several attempts to contact the company to get an update on order status. Finally, on 2/2/22, Kyle responded and let me know the order was to ship on 3/15. Here we are on 4/4/22, and no order has been received or status updated. I've made several attempts to check on status with no successful answer. Now I'm going to have to fight to get our $6,000.00 deposit back that Worthington Millwork has had for the last four months. Again, DO NOT do business with this company.
