I’m in Homosassa on w sunrise lane. This morning I had a broken pine tree on the power line from the storm. It was catching on fire. We've had WREC for 7 years, never had a problem. All these bad reviews by people that dont pay their bills, it's not WRECs fault, it's yours

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by your company in regards to connecting electricity at my residence. I paid a sum of $400 on 7/22/24 for the purpose of initiating power supply; however, it has been over a week since then and there has been no progress or communication from your end.
As an individual responsible for two young children and a dog who rely heavily on electrical appliances for their daily needs such as heating/cooling systems and refrigeration among others, this delay is causing significant distress within our household. We are currently facing numerous inconveniences due to the lack of electricity which directly impacts our quality of life.
Despite multiple attempts made by me through phone calls (reference numbers attached) requesting updates about when we can expect the installation process to be completed promptly after payment was made - unfortunately all these efforts have gone unanswered. This complete lack of response not only reflects poorly upon your customer service but also raises concerns about accountability towards customers’ well-being.
Considering that timely provision of essential services like electricity is crucial especially during extreme weather conditions or emergencies – I find it highly disappointing that you have failed in meeting even basic expectations set forth by utility companies operating within this industry.

Had a squirrel blow a fuse up on the pole that feeds our business. Called on a Sunday reported the outage and they had someone out within the hour to fix and get us back up and running.
