He was very rude. After finally being able to bring the cow over he backed out of the deal. We sent a picture of the cow but then he said the horns were to big for his chute once we got there. He yelled and was very discourteous in the way he spoke.

Joey and his family do an amazing job. If you need a butcher you can trust Weicht's is the place for you! I have taken them over a dozen animals. I have never had a problem!

Terrible service and the cuts were average. Place stinks like rotting meat and the door was wide open, doesn't seem sanitary.

Dropped off our first pig in October and they helped us determine the cuts we wanted, including smoking the bacon. Received the meat back in perfect order about three weeks later and dropped off a steer at the same time. The pork is amazing as the first chops we had were cut 3/4 inch thick. The bacon was smoked to perfection. Two weeks later we received our beef and were equally pleased with the processing and cuts. Had t-bone steaks the first night, once again cut to 3/4 inch, perfect.

We have used other butchers when we lived on the other side of the state and they are not as good as Weicht's. The animal holding pens are clean, the staff treats the animals well and the cutting room is clean. I highly recommend this slaughter house and will be using them on the next animals we need to have processed.

Many thanks to Joe for his advice and expertise. Joe advised us to use Lazy L Livestock Transportation to get both our pigs from our homestead in Brooksville to Zephyrhills where he slaughtered and butchered both hogs for us, delivering packaged meat at a price that was very affordable. We ended up with over 150 pounds of CLEAN, chemical free meat for $154, plus $100 transportation through Lazy L. All in all, a very positive experience and I have zero doubt we will use Weicht's again in the future.

Totally wasted my time. Agreed to work with me, had me drive the 20 mile trip up and back twice for a total of 80 miles just to back out of our deal. Plus he was so rude to me he had me in tears. There was no need for all that. Try keeping your word once you give it.
