I have found that Waterway filter tanks have design (material) flaws. I have owned two tanks and it's common for them to leak (within 1-2 years) from the bottom of the filter tank (it cracks). Another common area where they crack and leak is long the rim on the lower half of the tank. Then when I bought ANOTHER bottom half of the tank it was not the same size as the previous one and didn't fit the top half. I would NOT call this a QUALITY company. There products are the worst in the industry, cheaply made and made NOT to last. I would steer clear.

Completely disappointed with their warranty. I provided documentation and images of one of their pool pumps upon their request and they completely ignored me giving no response. I filed BBB complaint and was advised they too were ignored a resolution. Recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Installed a Waterway 525SF filter yesterday - Bought from Leslie's Pool Supply. The entire top pressure assembly was pouring water out. Leslie's cannot warranty nor return this product. They did, however locate another unit and replaced the defective unit. Just installed the new one, and it is leaking just as bad. Two units, back to back, in two days.
It will be the last Waterway product I will EVER purchase.
HORRIBLE. Waterway says that the part will need to be ordered (from their own wharehouse) and will take around 4 days then a "tech" is "supposed" to come to my house and install.
In Texas, a pool cannot go without a filtration and pump system.
I am waiting to see what kind of customer relations Waterway has.

They had the correct gasket to help us save money. A new pool filter pump would have cost us hundreds to possible over a 1,000

when rating this company If there was such a thing as no star, that would be exactly what I would give them, zero!
I purchased a pool pump back on April 2nd 2023 and today is July 18th 2023, The pump never worked from day one, it won't hold the programming and I have call them daily week & monthly. They keep giving me the run around, So today I'm call the BBA. I will also be filling a lawsuit with small claims court. so if you have thousand of dollars to give away, go to Water Way. Guaranteed!! They will skin you bend you and go up in you. But if not!!! stay away from that place.

I bought a pool from them and it has been a nightmare from day 1.

It arrived damaged with dents in the side, which they acted like was not a big deal. It did not have all of the parts, and had some incorrect parts. I contacted them and they shipped more of the wrong parts. I contacted them again and was told to call some number that no one ever answered.

The ladder is trash and I ended up having to buy a new one that was more stable.

I bought it in June and already the filter knob broke, the trap lid broke, and the liner is leaking.

Honestly, I know we will never get it, but we deserve a refund on this piece of junk and they should not be allowed to sell it.

I bought a Waterway Pool pump that I had to store unopened for a year, due to the fact that the pool I ordered was cancelled by the supplier. One yer later ( September 2021) we finally had a pool installed and the brand new Waterway pool pump was installed by a professional pool company. Upon installation, and turning on the machine--they discovered a main part had a crack in it. I called Waterway on the next business day and explained the situation. They asked me to provide several photos of the part with crack ( In which I did ), and a day later, they called me to ask for my shipping address so that they could ship the replacement part. 2I waited patiently, but 3 weeks later--When I had not received the part, I emailed the person I had been dealing with and got zero response several emails later. I finally called them, and they transferred me to another person who never answered their phone --so I left a detailed message several times----and got no response. I called back a few more times with same scenario before I gave up. I chose a Waterway pump because they were made in the USA. Im so disappointed that my $650 pump is useless!! I cannot even find the part to purchase it myself. Its not available to purchase. I will have to buy a whole new pump next year, and I will never buy a Waterway Pump again!!

Installed a pool controller and it worked for all of a minute and the transformer blew. Took 30 minutes to reach someone on the phone, emailed them pictures as requested and a copy of proof of purchase with their assurance they'd send out the replacement transformer. Never got it. $800 system and ZERO support.

Update several years later: never received support and I am certain this company is a total ZERO when it comes to producing quality products or supporting them. Stay away. In fact, RUN.

I cannot stress enough how infuriating the lack of service a company has makes me. I purchased my own transformer and the board ended up being fried too. Total garbage. They didn’t even bother following up with me. They don’t need me to call because I sent in emails that they didn’t bother following up on. But when I did call they didn’t do anything either. Completely unacceptable.
