We have used this location for many years and never had a problem..till today.
They do not change oil on F150 if the truck has a plastic oil plug. Supposedly this rule just changed. Whatever.
My problem is with the manager (did not see his name but picture was on the wall inside) When I got there abd the older gentleman was writing it up the manager came out and got down on his hands and knees 3 times looking under the truck. He said something to the gentleman and went back inside. No one said anything too me.
So the gentleman told me it would about a hr so I went shopping. I got my shopping done and went to the waiting room. After a hr past a different gentleman came in and told me they could not do the oil change.
Why I was not told after the MANAGER seen that there was a problem? NO ONE TOLD ME TILL A HOUR OF WAITING!

The staff was really nice but I don't know if it was their system or what but there was definitely a scheduling issue there were cars backed up and they were telling people that were scheduled that they were going to have to wait up to 2 hours I know it's not the staff's fault but Walmart as a whole need to rethink their vehicle appointment scheduling system

The manager swapped out a battery that wouldn’t hold a charge for me free of charge! Also came back to get 2 tires for just $150! Had them mounted and balanced within 30 min for me. I never use Walmart for tires, but I will definitely be coming back.

I came for an oil change.i pulled in toward the service bays and am associate promptly checked me in.the guys were courteous and professional. I arrived only an hour before they closed and even though there were two customers ahrad of me, they had me ready to go well before closing.

The Oneonta auto center does not deserve even one star. I have taken my car to them for oil changes several times. The last time I went in for the oil change they said they couldn’t change the oil due to an oversized oil plug and that my oil pan needed to be replaced. I explained to The employee that they had changed my oil in the past and have not had this problem before, he said they would reimburse me for the oil pan replacement, obviously because it was their fault/mistake. I went and got a quote for it to be replaced and took the quote back to the employee and he said he would have to get the manager to sign off on reimbursement. They sent me to a dealership to get another quote and called me back after sending me now to 2 different auto shops to inform me that they didn’t place the oversized oil plug and would not be reimbursing me for the oil pan replacement. I went in for a $30 oil change and have ended up with a $600 problem that they refuse to fix or have fixed. Like I said they are the only ones who have changed my oil the last few times. I do not recommend them, they will cause more problems than you came in for and in my case an expensive problem.

I went to the Oneonta Walmart expecting to purchase new tires for my 07' Tacoma. While I'm shopping in store I'm called back to Automotive department. The tire technician informed me that the tires I had on my truck "new" have 9mm of tread and the worst tread wear of all 4 i still had 6mm. I've only used a third of my tread.
We further discussed the problem I was having which one of my wheels may have been bent. Suggested we rotate and Balance and work from there. Solved my problem and I kept the $350 for tires, that I was eager to spend. Someone in Walmart should thank these guys for their integrity. I know I have.!?

Normaly i work on my own cars because i like knowing i did it right. However, if i do not have the time to do it myself i go here for the regular oil change.

I always get my Nissan 200SX's oil change here bc I can't do it myself. You here horror stories from others but I've never had any issues and have had my oil changed here for 6 years. The price is reasonable and the included vacuuming is a plus. Also, I'm able to get other shopping done while waiting
