My husband and I are getting a series of unusual travel immunizations and both Nicole and Charles (pharmacists) have been exceptionally helpful helping us sort out the order of getting these, the best prices and getting them in a timely manner. We’ve gone to ‘PASSPORT HEALTH’ a private immunization clinic in the past but the shots were much more expensive (sometimes double) at Passport Health. I believe this may be the only Walgreens location to have travel immunizations done and I strongly recommend them.

Customer Service is awful... Manager hung up on me for canceling my delivery order. They really need to not offer delivery at all at this location.
October 2024 Update: Original review was posted September 2023... Decided to try again today .. Placed order for same day delivery... At the scheduled time, no delivery, status indicated it would be delivered tomorrow... Tried to use chat to cancel then had to call, no one could cancel the delivery... Not gonna try delivery from this location anymore... Try at your own risk

Total incompetence!
Staff becomes aggressively defensive when questioned about anything!
Their automated system is absolutely worthless, after receiving text and calling to let them know that you can't pick it up right away they agreed to put it in the hold bin for up to ten days and then they actually call every day to remind you!
Each time you of course get another associate who explains their computer is set up for the daily reminders even though a couple of them did actually check to see it was marked for later pickup because of being out of town!
So we're in the 21st century and the only way corporations want to communicate with us is on line but they can't input a message to their system of a requested pickup date?
So when I get there to pickup my RX
They tell me it's been put back even though I had spoken to at least 6 people who called to remind me that it was ready and 3 of the 6 actually went to the hold bin to verify pickup date!
Customer service is a thing of the past!

Pharmacy it totally incompetent! Made my daughter wait for over a week for the doctor to reply to a refill for important medication fax, while there was already a refill remaining on the script. Continues to fill prescriptions that I have repeatedly told them I do not take. Called to sort it out and pharmacy manager could tell me her name, possibly Nicole,” I have so many young people”!

The pharmacy here is totally unreliable. I’ve come here twice within a week to pick up the same prescription, and both times the pharmacy is closed even though the hours indicate it’s open. They should simply permanently close this pharmacy if it’s never open instead of holding prescriptions hostage. If you actually are interested in being able to access your medication, I’d suggest not having the prescription sent to this Walgreens.

The photo department here is amazing, and I can always get what I need quickly and without hassle. The store is always clean, and associates can be found for any assistance you may need. The reason for 3 stars is due to the pharmacy department. It is fairly unorganized and picking up prescriptions has become a hassle for my family on numerous occasions. I personally use CVS for my prescriptions.

TL;DR members of management and other parts of the store that aren’t certified/licensed pharmacy techs will handle your prescription. They don’t know what they’re doing and thus they take their frustration out on you by being rude and sarcastic. I would have expected basic customer service from a “member in management” regardless of where they were working (even if they don’t know what they’re doing).

Basically what I’m saying is to be wary of who’s handling your prescriptions and giving you consultation at this store.

I spoke with the store manager briefly and she was very polite and apologetic. Why was she the only one who cared?

Adding some context:
I was picking up a prescription for a chronic health condition. This prescription is worth $1,000+ which insurance only covered so much.

I’ve been to pharmacies for most of my life to get prescriptions for my chronic conditions and I’ve never been treated so poorly.

Honestly if you wanted a better and safer experience I would just go to CVS that’s next door. Never had a problem with them.

I went to the photo department with no idea how it works. The staff was extremely helpful. Taking all the time I needed to get going. Answered all my questions. All while still operating the registers and processing photo orders. I walked around the store while waiting for my order and discovered a huge varied of liquors . Nice gift options, clean and friendly . A quiet and close get away to do any photo projects and find all your household needs.
