I had a flat tire on my bike and took it to Voltaire to have it repaired. When I picked up my bike I was told that there was a dent in the rim and it there was a 70% chance it would not hold air. I took it work the next day and sure enough the tire blew out on my way to work. I then went back to the shop and purchased a new tube to try the repair myself. The man at the shop was not the normal repair person. He looked up my bike and sold me a 700x40-45 tube. I went home and when I took off my bike tire I found that the repair man from Voltaire had sold me a tube measuring 700x28-35. This tube was tiny and looked like it was made for a speed bike. I did some research and found out he installed the wrong size tube on my bike. I installed the correct tube and have ridden my bike to work everyday with no issues. When I called the shop to ask about a refund they told me I must come in and bring the old tube. I was told that Tuesday the manager would be there. I had work and sent my wife to the repair shop. When I came home from work she explained that they told her the manager was not there and she needed to drive to the other shop which was a hour from our home. I didn’t want to leave this review but these guys seem like they are trying to pull a fast one to get more bike repair revenue. I was contacted by the owner who said they would give me a refund. That’s was a week ago and no one has reached out.

I purchased my bike about a yr ago and was told per warranty to bring it back in before the yr was up for maintenance. I did on a Saturday morning that afternoon I came back to see that it had been put in for service and because my husband was in the market for a new E-bike. Anyhow after my husband tried several bikes we left and I was told that Mike bike needed brakes and they were going to change out the key port since when I purchased the bike I never received the key. I did try on several occasions ask about the keys and have purchased othe things like a balancing bike for my grandson a pull behind cart and seat for toddles that goes on the back of my bike. I was told bike would be ready by Wednesday. The following Saturday it was not ready ot hadn't even been looked at. Then the next Tuesday I went in The morning and was told it would be ready by that afternoon so I returned. Only to be told they found the key. Once I got home and tried the bike the brakes remain the same. I called they said they didn't touch my bike. I guess now I'm screwed out out my maintenance and have to find a new electric bike repair or maintenance shop to get brakes🤦🏾‍♀️ we definitely won't be spending any more money at this store

What a great full service shop. I finally found a bike shop that services my Ride1Up V2 Roadster plus they have a full selection of upgrade parts for my bike. I've already built a great relationship with the shop owner and service manager. 2years later and I bought my second Ride1Up Roadster electric bike and I couldn't be happier!

Bought an e-bike for my wife from Voltaire a couple months ago. Heard something rubbing and took it back up there. They were awesome in terms of customer service and taking care of the problem at no cost to us. My wife mentioned she thought it came with a bell and they immediately put one on at no charge. Initially they even offered to pick the bike up from our home when we were having trouble loading it in the car.... just anything they could do to make for a good experience. So very much impressed! Kudos to Dan, Ron and Henry. You guys understand what makes for a successful business. Also very pleased with the Discovery 2 e-bike!!! Great purchase!

Went to Voltaire to help with a flat tire for my son's electric bike. Found out it was tubeless tire, so they just put air in it and resealed it but works fine. Thank you for taking a look at it so quickly and helping out 🙂 Nice bike service/bike shop. Will definitely go there going forward for repairs.

There aren’t enough words to describe how much we enjoyed working with Ron and Carain the owners. We went to several bike stores before we found theirs. All were nice but Voltaire had a huge selection in different price ranges. We got to test ride quite a few before landing on our perfect bike. They also rent bikes and can transport to the legacy trail if needed. They also have on site repair to keep your current bike moving. I highly recommend you going to Osprey and see for yourself.

I bought a used Magnum bike 7 months ago and right away the display & motor would cut out after a couple minutes. Took it back. They could not fix it. Didn't even try. Said the rep would not call them back! Sorry. So last week the motor started making a loud noise. I took it to the Magnum dealer in Sarasota. They reviewed the bike and found the following issues; The motor & display needs to be replaced. Possible controller replacement also. The most shocking repair is it needed all new brake pads!! I have ridden this bike 4 times. The total repair bill will be over $650.00 I called Volaire got put on hold for 10 minutes, then got hung up on. Called back having to leave a message. So far no response. BUYER BEWARE. NOT A PLACE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY. GO NORTH TO SARASOTA...
