This was a last min decision to go and honestly it was so awesome! Dan was an amazing guide who knew the history well and was easy going. It was a small group. But we witnessed EMF readers going off the whole time. When sitting with Robert the Doll my BF’s EMF reader was reading 4 for a good 5mins (thought maybe it’s cuz he was pointing it at someone’s phone, but nope that was not the case). We witnessed the motion detector that was attached to a bottle go off behind us and it knocked over a little bit too! We didn’t do the VIP experience, but it was such a cool experience! They do provide equipment if you were to get the VIP experience.

Dan was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and interactive with the group. Having the VIP experience is a MUST for people looking for something spooky and even a cool ghost hunting adventure towards the end.
My boyfriend and I chose the Estes method in the tunnel of the dungeon. We had heard "Help." And "My name is Will, Will, Will."
I had gotten excited and told him to keep the headphones on, asked who I was speaking to and my boyfriend immediately replied "William." He also said "Who is this?" To which I replied with our names and my boyfriend took off the headphones saying he heard raspy breathing in the headphones.
Turns out William White was a real person that had died of an illness as a soldier while stationed there. Really cool experience that we'll never forget.

Dan was AMAZING! It's awesome to go on a tour where someone clearly loves their job. We were thoroughly creeped out to the degree that we didn't want to take photos/videos for fear of what we'd find and were too afraid to use many of the ghost hunting tools during the VIP experience. A unique ghost tour that we'll never forget! Definitely recommend!

This tour was really fun. Our guide Dan was great. He is an awesome story teller and made the experience interactive by providing EVP and EMF detectors. Seeing Robert up close was super creepy. Highly recommend this tour!

We went to Fort East Martello Ghost Tour & Robert the Doll Experience last night. Since I had the VIP experience, after the tour was over they gave me equipment and I basically had the run of the place. It was very cool. Right as I was starting I heard paper moving. To say I jumped out of my skin was an understatement. At one point I felt like I was being followed and then heard foot steps behind me. The vibe of the whole Fort is just, wow. And Robert the doll was amazing to see in real life. Trust me I paid him the utmost respect and did not take 1 picture even though they said we could. If you get to Keywest and like adventures like this, it is a must!!! Totally worth every penny. I forgot to mention the tour guides were amazing. They were both friendly, and very knowledgeable about the Fort. I enjoyed hearing about their own experiences. And when we were getting ready to leave apparently the ghost were saying good night because the one guy said in Robert's room the lights were flickering.👻👻

This tour is amazing and the staff is fantastic. I will do this every single time I visit Key West. We did the VIP tour after the regular tour and got to go out on our own. I loved every second!! Remember to respect Robert the Doll!!!

The ghost tour was amazing, and the tour guide was fantastic with sharing information and guiding everyone through the fort. I highly recommend the VIP Tour at the end. We saw and heard things that we’re still talking about! And whatever you may have heard, DO NOT ask Robert the doll for permission to take his picture!

My Gal Pals & I visited on June 30th, 2023, and this was an absolute amazing experience! We did the upgraded VIP tour and are so glad we did. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable in the history of the property and definitely gave us a chill, especially when we were set off on our own to explore. The highlight was meeting Robert the Doll, we were very polite to Robert and made sure that we introduced ourselves, thanked him and said goodbye to him. My friend Jen and I took a photo on the porch of the doll house and as we walked away, she swore someone was behind her shuffling their feet. If you want to learn some history and have a little bit of a good fright, I highly recommend booking this tour, just be sure to be respectful, especially with Robert the Doll.
