Such a friendly and welcoming experience. We absolutely loved the resident wine dog, Rosie. She was such a good girl and pleasure to meet. Our tasting hostess was amazing. She gave us a tour of the production and the wines were truly tasty, especially their petite Syrah.

We had to go and tour this winery since we share the same last name. It did not disappoint and was our favorite wine tasting/tour that we did. Everyone was super friendly. It was amazing to learn the family history and get an education in wine making.

Amazing visit to this very special winery! We have been to several wineries in Napa & Sonoma. Very friendly staff and great experience at this Family winery. We were a party of 4 and sat in the Garden on a beautiful Fall day. Jennifer, our hostess was very nice, she served us multiple wines (almost 8-12 bottles were open!). Loved the Petit Sirahs & Zinfandel. We bought a couple of bottles! missed meeting Rosie. Hopefully next time!

We drove 1.5 hrs from San Francisco to Calistoga for a couple of vineyard visits and lunch. We had a really special visit at Vincent Arroyo, where we were the only four people in our group. The experience was everything you could hope for in a tasting and tour. We felt welcomed and enjoyed and learned from both the tasting and the tour of the facility. The wines were uniformly excellent and all reflected an elegance one doesn’t find easily. No wonder this small winery, which is grower, producer, and distributor, sells its production exclusively at the winery and online through subscription. We came home with several bottles of wine and one each of the site-grown olive oil and the balsamic vinegar. This visit made our day!

Had another great visit to Vincent Arroyo Winery! Sampled probably a dozen great wines and purchased a case to shop home! This is the place to go if you want the full history of winemaking or, if you want to test your knowledge. Was greeted with nearly private tasting with me and my sister, got to see the vineyard and the place where they make the wine. If you want off the beaten path, yet delicious wine, …

Great experience while in Napa. Very friendly staff and great experience. Loved the experience David provided us during our visit. Rosie is a real treat and I won't spoil the surprise, but make sure you make your way in and see Rosie! The wine is definitely a must try. Most impressed with the reserve Cab and left with a bottle of the gourmet dipping olive oil. It is a recipe of Vincent Arroyo and it is quite tasteful. The was $18 and definitely worth it. Got to meet the wine maker himself and take a tour of the machines used to process the grapes. We were pretty lucky to visiting during harvest as we got see Zinfandel & Cabernet grapes! Very exciting visit. Worth the drive and the time spent there. If I visit Napa again, I'll be sure to come back and visit Rosie !

It was my birthday so my husband threw me a surprise gateway in Napa on Sunday. He had previously booked a 12pm at Arroyo Vineyards in Calistoga. The drive through the different vineyards was beautiful. We parked in Calistoga downtown and walked to Vincent Arroyo Vineyards which was a lovely 30min walk. The turn to the Arroyo Vineyards was beautiful with long tall trees and the grape vines all over the place. It was lovely to see they had olive trees along with the grape vines.

Our tasting guide for the day was Dave. He was such a warm soul and very knowledgeable about wine making and told us countless stories and tricks which were wonderful. He has started as a wine taster since 10 years old and travelled abroad at 14 to do proper wine tasting. Dave is hands on guy and you could tell how passionate he was about the wine making. The wine tasting itself was complimentary which was nice. While we were trying and sipping generous amounts of 8 different wines, Dave gave us a little tour around the property along with its history.

The experience was very personal and very interactive which was nice. We ended up staying for 1.5 hours and the time just flew. We ended up buying their white wine which was so lovely and smooth but didn't pick up any of the reds actually. Wine definitely tastes better if you have some cheese with it to understand how it tastes with food so we weren't sure but our friends loved the petite shiraz which they picked up. Apart from the wine, we loved and bought their estate olive oil (true taste of green olives, just like olive oil in Italy) and their balsamic reduction. Really amazing, must buy the olive oil. Highly recommend this experience.
