This William Powell bridge and the bike ride to Village of Key Biscayne is the best around South Miami. There is a very well defined green colored bike path and plenty of room for cars to see and avoid those on bikes in the bike lane. The bridge is the "huff and puff" kind-but manageable on an otherwise flat path. There are several places to buy liquids or snacks in the Village. If you push a few more miles-there is Bill Baggs State Park that is very bike friendly. Requires a $2 fee at the entrance. The lighthouse is a must see and there is a fun small restaurant on the water called "Boaters Grill". Food is pretty good-prices are average. Crandon Park has several great- not crowded beautiful sandy beaches too. So make it a fun bike day. As good as it gets in Florida.

Village island life in the middle of all Miami has to offer. Some of the city’s most beautiful homes, beach accessible from nearly every condo building (walking distance from all condos), parks, and all you need on a daily basis (groceries, pharmacies, gas stations, clinics, emergency services, its own Police and Fire Departments, dog park, marina, golf, tennis, etc. and as an added bonus, one of my favorites: Key Biscayne is a golf cart community. To experience this island life is to love it!

Great, knowledgeable and friendly professionals that are willing to spend the extra time in walking owners, residents and managers with requirements to meet compliance, Michael the Chief inspector is one of the best Officials we have ever worked with. Always available and willing to lend a helping hand but firm in keeping to the high standards set by KB. This type of cooperation is hard to find.

A little humid, rain can come in quickly fast and hard and then disappear. Take the air boat over the everglades, aligators will come right up to the boat and you can throw a Marshmallow for them to eat
