We purchased a Wool Berber for our primary bedroom and separate closet in December 2023. Upon installation, I was handed a piece of paper stating that a Manual adjustment Vacuum is required or the warranty would be voided. They stated the wrong vacuum could cause “excess fuzzing “. This should have been disclosed prior to purchasing.
I purchased the Santaire Vacuum recommended by Unique Carpets. I vacuumed both areas once a week, the rest of my home is tile so the new carpet is the ONLY area the Santaire vacuum is used. They gave no instructions on level to set the vacuum nor rug “grooming” instructions.
Guess what, our expensive, high end wool carpet started excess fuzzing after about 5 months from installation.
I filed a warranty claim and had to wait about 2 months for an “Independent contractor” to come and inspect the carpet and submit a report.
Of course the claim was denied. The reasons stated were: 1. The Vacuum was set at the wrong level. 2. They falsely accused me that the vacuum was not being used based on lack of wear on the newly purchased vacuum and lack of carpet fibers on the wheels. (Photos below of the bag full of wool fibers and dust.) 3. The denial notice also included instructions on wool rug grooming & level to set the manual adjust vacuum.
Why was this information not provided at the time of purchase? Very Poor customer service at the time of sale. Of course the claim was denied based on false claim that I was not vacuuming.
I MOST DEFINITELY would never recommend this Brand of carpet.

We purchased beautiful wool carpet from a wholesale carpet company in Reno, NV. We began having issues with the carpet after about a year and thought that we could take care of it with the wholesale company and/or professional cleaners. At around the 2 year mark we contacted Neal Cooper and RJ Arce from Unique Carpets LTD. and asked if they could help us since the wholesale company refused to help. Not only did they help us, RJ Arce came to Reno from the Bay Area to inspect our carpets, gave us a full replacement of a similar carpet of our choice and had it installed! The owners of Unique Carpets LTD.Neal Cooper and RJ Arce have shown that they are a company with integrity, care about their brand, quality and their customers. I highly recommend them and would not think of shopping elsewhere.
