I would like to start by saying the sausage tastes very good, but they need to do a better job of Quality Assurance. I found a small pieces of what looked to be wire in the meat. I did contact the company and they said they would be getting back to me about this issue. I write this only as a cautionary statement to all who purchase this product, that you may encounter a similar experience and wouldn’t want anyone to get harmed. This is NOT, Repeat, NOT a comment to hurt the company, just a consumer beware.

I have been eating Uncle John’s bun length hot sausages at least 5 days a week for the past year. They make a great lunch. But..... over the past few months I have found pieces of bone in the sausage and have nearly broken a tooth on several occasions. In fact, today’s lunchtime sausage had two pieces of bone in the sausage. The pain to my teeth is rapidly changing my desires for my favorite sausage. Great flavor but step up your quality control to keep me as a customer.

Long-time customer, purchased Uncle John's Pride sausage for years. Recent purchase of mild sausage, my husband and I felt a crunchy texture while eating the sausage. Found tiny pieces of glass in the sausage. Please investigate thoroughly, quality control.

UJP Hot Country sausage has been my favorite country sausage for over a year now, however they recently changed the recipe and it is nothing like it used to be. No better now then all the other so called Country sausage makers out there. I'll look for something better!

My wife is a bit of a food snob - calls herself a "qualitarian". Not really stuck to any one particular diet but what she eats, she wants it to be the best. I was shock the other day at Publix when she grabbed the Uncle John's as part of the homemade red beans and rice dish. She was raving about how good this sausage was. I have to admit... she was right and the red beans and rice was the best I ever had.

I love uncle johns sausages! To me they are the best! I bought some from Winn Dixie and I never looked back! Go get you some and grill them or fry them! They want stare you wrong
