Came up to get a propane refill, called before I came up, called on my way, and the phone was still ringing when I pulled into the parking lot. I was told propane refills close 15 minutes before closing of the store. Both people were in the store and it would have been nice if one of them had just picked up and saved me the trip up here. Instead they were looking like they were ready to get out of there because it was 3 minutes to close But told me the reason they didn't pick up is they were both out in the yard. Funny how neither was in the yard and they were just waiting around when I walked in. Pick up your phone for the love of God.

I have used this specific U-Haul location several times over the years, mainly for truck rental.

This time I needed a "hitch" put onto my car. For those who do not know, the hitch on a car/truck is what you need in order to connect trailers, certain bike racks, etc. to your car.

In doing my due diligence I called other shops that would install a hitch on my car. Their prices were so high my jaw dropped plus not one seemed at all interested in gaining my business. Then I called U-Haul Moving & Storage of Largo, in specific the facility at 13564 66th ave. in Largo. The fee they quoted and the way they spoke to me was almost too good to be true. I recalled how good they have been to me with rentals so my hesitation went away. Even called a friend who worked at a local high-end bicycle shop, and asked who they recommended to customers who needed a hitch. Was not surprised when he told me they sent people to the same U-Haul so, decision made.

Called and spoke with several individuals, all great. Rich was the one who took personal responsibility for taking care of me from start to finish and was tremendous. He even suggested a better date/time scenario for me that worked perfectly with my schedule.

Upon arrival everyone I worked with went above and beyond for me. The mechanic who installed the hitch even showed me ways to attach my bicycle rack so that I would have an even better experience using it. Who does all of that these days, and at the most reasonable price, plus tremendous service? Only one that I know of when it comes to truck rental and other services like what I needed, U-Haul Moving & Storage of Largo.

I absolutely recommend this location of U-Haul for you and your family needs.

It took some time to figure out statistics, I wouldn’t determine by one or three days, however the whole team, at this U-Haul location: 13564 66th St N, Largo, FL 33771 was/is consistently nice, i think that’s awesome and people would want to know.

Truck driver giving them a service:

1st the entrance is on the front for the semi-truck and needs a wide turn from the 2nd line. They leave equipment on the front and it makes it a bit tight.

2nd they just don't care about other services we need to do to other customers. (I hope they do treat the customer the same way they didn't take care of the driver who gave a service to them.)

3rd the place is a bit tight to set yourself on the loading-unloading dock.

4th Safety is not the priority here. They have a picture of a condo sleeper truck to tell other drivers that perhaps their skill levels may be different. If they can, they should do the same. Setting a bad example.
Not everyone can swim 100M perhaps having the same physical condition.

Everything very smooth when I went to rent a trailer the guy who took care of me was really nice. I can't say the same when I returned the guy was really nice and told me that I don't need to do anything else that he would take care of the returned. 3 hours later a receive a call from other employee asking me for the late returned. I told him that the trailer was returned early morning and he went to check to confirm. The trailer was there just the employee forgot to check it in. Very disappointed.

The worst Uhaul company I have ever used. The truck was terrible, it felt like the transmission was going to come out of the truck! Check engine light was on! Lights flashed off and on! The scariest ride I have ever had. I was told the manager was going to call me but he never did. So very disappointed!

Largo U-Haul had the size trick I preferred on the day I requested. They also extended the rental for me as requested. The staff was pleasant and the truck ran smoothly.
The only down side was that the staff was suck on the phone which made my wait about 15 minutes. Would also have benefited from some instruction on truck use.
Will rent from them again, if needed.

The one time I rented a truck from here I had no issues.
I have used their propane service several times and they have been excellent! Just ring the bell by the propane spot and they come right out to you, you can pay there as well!
