I’ve been to this hospital when I had my heart attack and they were great. My mom had a hip replacement there and they were great. Now my mom is here after a fall. They found blood clots and the staff has been great but when the ICU doctor Dr Garcia came by to talk to me this evening he got an attitude with me and said “ Are you kidding me bro?” When I politely stated that I didn’t get a lot of feedback from the staff today the way I did yesterday in the ER. I was really taken aback by his unprofessional response and defensive manor when I did not speak to him in an aggressive way what-so-over. All in all I’ve had great experiences in this hospital but that will leave a stain on my opinion of the facility which is the only reason I’m giving them a 4 instead of a 5. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this hospital should you find yourself needing one.

I have been in three hospital recently; West Marion, The Villages and now Leesburg UF Health. The staff at Leesburg is by far the best at making me feel comfortable and heard. From nurses to Techs to the transport team all have been super friendly and attentive.
The food and nutrition groups gets the highest rating! They have worked with me to send me foods I will eat and prepared meals sent out to the rooms are great! I hear they have a brand new menu and the nursing staff tells me they go eat what they see us served as it looks so good. Vegetable are tasty and not cooked to mush, the meats are prepared with seasoning and herbs and not bland. They bring me a beautiful bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit in the mornings and always add a little something extra on my tray. The team that comes around to get the food orders are very committed to bringing their patients what they want to eat.
5 Stars for sure!

I wouldn't let my worse enemy go here! They kept my sister in an induced coma for a week and a half. She needed to be moved to a hospital that could do the surgery she needed, but they keep saying there was no beds anywhere. And one time they told us the insurance company said they were out of network. All bull. I asked to speak to the medical director. (The doc in charge of all the doctors ) I was told there was none! The medical director is the one who has to call a doctor in charge at another hospital and have accept a patient into there care. After that's done, a bed will be found for them. A doctor called from Leesburg and wanted to know if we wanted to "pull the plug" she is now in Orlando Regional hospital and they are amazing. Thank you Jesus for helping us get her out of there!

Kelly L. was my mother’s nurse as my mother was admitted yesterday for bloody stools. Kelly L. went above and beyond to ensure that my mother was comfortable and well-taken care of! I was very impressed with her level of nursing knowledge and especially her compassion. She is a wonderful nurse, and I am thankful she was my mother’s nurse during her time on floor 4!

01/08/25 The triage team was amazing .But when they assigned a bed in Emergency Room things took a turn for the worse the nurses aid came to disconnect my IV because they needed a urine sample. We called her back asking her to reconnect the IV but she was more concerned with me putting the gown on when I was already in pj’s with a easy access for her to do her job with very nasty actitud . Then the female provider Tiffany Barber didn’t pay attention for my health, she said the she put some medication in the pharmacy for me only to find out that next day the order never put in . Took a least 4 phone calls to Emergency Room to get it straightened out and still waiting for one of the prescription that I needed the must . Very sad and bad experience l don’t believe I ever go back .😞🥲

My dad was admitted to this hospital for congestive heart failure in December. Instead of treating his heart, the doctor assigned to his case decided that his gallbladder needed to come out. After that, the heart doctor,who was extremely arrogant and rude decided he needed a pacemaker, then he wouldn't explain how my family would know if that was working. They then let him lay there for nine more days before he was sent to a rehab center. At that point it was too late to save him. Don't go to this hospital unless you're ready to die.

I had to take my daughter tonight to the ER. The nurses (Jessica & Dave) were very attentive and kind. My little was not feeling very well at all. The PA Mae made sure to listen very well to her lungs and kept a good eye on her. We didn’t wait to get a room and my daughter was comfortable the whole visit.

I had the best experience tonight I had to bring my daughter in for a very sore throat and deep cough obviously was kinda dreading it, from the moment we walked in my daughter was taken care of with such love and kindness we were seen treated and gone within an hour max. The nurse Jessica went above and beyond and brought my daughter a Christmas gift bag and coloring pages !! That was the best experience we have both ever had I never thought I would rave over a hospital but Dr. Adam and Jessica are worthy of all praise ! Good job LRMC
