Christopher and his father, David, performed a great repair on an antique dining room chair that I accidentally damaged. They have an interesting and diverse operation in Ft Walton Beach. The timely performance matched their optimism about ability to do the repair!

We at the Coastal Homeschool Co-op of Fort Walton Beach were thrilled to have David invite us into the Traditions Workshop space to demonstrate to our inquiring young minds woodworking and blacksmithing.

He and Billy made room within the workshop to prepare for the comfort, enjoyment and safety of our group of approximately 30 children and adults.

They both were fantastic and patient teachers who were masters in their craft. Willing to share their knowledge and encouraging to all. David and Billy were able to successfully speak and show concepts that were easily understood from the perspective of a young child (our group comprised of children ranging between the ages of 1 to 12).

My 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son loved the little swords that were forged right in front of them. They came home and opened a parcel with them right away. David asked the children what character he should make into a wooden treasure box and after some suggestions from the audience, they decided on a whale. Right in front of their eyes, a whale was made from a block of wood. A truly memorable experience!

Once my children are of appropriate age, I will surely enroll them in classes or apprenticeships here.

David and Billy were truly inspiring to all those who attended. Our group is thankful for their time and wisdom.

Dave created a custom shadowbox for my retirement. The design and workmanship is exquisite and I proudly display it. He also made a display case for a confederate gun that included a secret drawer as a gift for my father-in-law. My father-in-law was very pleased with the gift and pleasantly surprised to learn about the secret drawer. I highly recommend Dave for professional and high quality service with a smile!

Took one of the blacksmith class’s with David. He is an amazing instructor, super knowledgeable and does an outstanding job of intertwining history, story’s related to smithing while providing detailed hands on instruction. Great time and would 110% recommend him to anyone interested in a good time, something new and/or blacksmithing. Thank you David and Anna for an amazing Saturday…

My girlfriend and I took a blacksmithing class with Chris. You get a safety brief, demonstration then dive in. At first you won't be sure how to use your arms all at once, but you improve very quickly. Chris shared more techniques than I could possibly absorb in a day, but helped me get to the desired end product. Class time was more than sufficient and everything was provided. I would absolutely take another class with Traditions Workshop, top notch folks.

I purchased a large wardrobe for our condo which came fully assembled. When we got it there, there was absolutely no way to get it in the bedroom. I went online to Home Advisor, got the info and called Dave. He and Billy picked up our wardrobe, disassembled it, brought it back and reassembled it in the bedroom. Their work was flawlessly done. They even installed the lock we needed. They really saved us! Class act!
