What a great place. This little brewery has great beer, great food, and you can’t beat the location. The Chicago Dog was excellent and pairing that with a flight of beers was a perfect way to end a day. Plus they’re dog friendly!

This was my first time trying this place and it was fun!! They have a nice little patio with pretty views as well as indoor seating. The beer was delicious and they have some fun food options as well. The pretzel was delicious and came out fast and the staff were very helpful and friendly! Highly recommend.

We visited Morro bay for the weekend and stopped here because I seen 3 blocks away and it was calling my name.
I tried the Sativa IPA and I wanted more, lol. We git the nachos and the black beans made this dish so delicious, the parmasen that was on there was a great addition.
We also got the chops and Queso and this was really good, little chunks of jalapeños gave it a great kick.
If you are in Morro Bay you must give this a try.

Not many places stay open late on Saturday. The patio is roomy but in winter nice to have a few more comfy chairs. Beer selection was good my friend got a dark beer. I should have asked about Ginger beer and didn't. Easy to find . looking forward to Libertine reopening with vinyl music and very deep dark beer selection in the stouts and more thick beers . Overall a good place for drinkers and non drinkers who accompany them

Wow! Amazing place. I came here as a kid and young adult when it was the Aquarium. My new favorite place to visit and grab a bite. I oive Hazy IPA's...and the Marine Layer does not disappoint!! I had to have two because I got the Bratwurst....I'm coming back for another. Wife had the Chicago dog and ...meh...but we then shared the Elote' in a cup...WOW!! Refreshing and delicious!! I will be back!! Awesome staff and super clean bathrooms and establishment!!

Updated: Have been coming here for years even when it was at the old location.
Owners are awesome! Love their beers! Food is decent. Wish they had a smaller bites menu but all good.
Love the fact they kept some of the nostalgia of the old aquarium in the place. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
If you are hungry, you can choose from appetizers and hotdogs.
He even carries other beers , ciders, and wine.

If you haven’t been here, definitely make it a stop on your next visit!!

Such a great new location! Downtown Morro Bay in the old aquarium building. Great view of the Morro Bay rock to go with the great beers on tap. Both Three Stack beers and other beers, along with cider and wine.
Love the penny bar!!

They have pretzels and gourmet hot dogs for your dining pleasure.

If you haven't been, go in and try them out.

Review from 2019:
Always a great place to sit and enjoy a beer. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area of downtown Morro Bay.
The ambiance here is quaint, bright, and serves popcorn from a vintage popcorn machine.
There are usually 2-3 beers the owner makes but then he serves other beers as well.
You can opt to get a flight, a 1/2 pint, or A full pint. This time around he had an oatmeal milk stout, which was rich with deep flavor. A ale and a Hazy IPA he collaborated with Earth and Fire. Loved all his beers.
If you are hungry there is a kitchen that according to a friend serves great food.
Prices are right in there with all other breweries.
If you haven't been here, come out and support a local brewery!

Wow. What an awesome find. Quirky brewery that used to be an aquarium in a former life. The CDA was surprisingly excellent and hit all the right notes of pine, dark malts, and "dry" molasses. Great service and excellent snacks. The tajin cucumber snd jicama with champy went well after an afternoon of kayaking. Clean bathrooms, and fun signs related to the former aquarium life. Kid and dog friendly
