Very disappointed in your far-left editorial page. We have loved reading The Triplicate ever since we first moved here in 1990. Though we enjoy the local stories we are deeply disappointed in the opinion page. Though you seem to grudgingly include a Cal Thomas column, the political cartoon is almost always insulting to Republicans. Thank goodness you do print opinion letters on both sides as well as on local issues.
I don't ask you to print only the republican side, but at least give us equal time.

i have noticed the constant spelling errors of your newspaper. How that justifies a one dollar charge is beyond me. what kind of an example are you sending to our youth when the newspaper can't even spell or use grammar correctly? furthermore, do you realize 5 out of 8 people in your community are not allowed to submit letters to the editor because the editor knows they submit letters to other newslines? how is that benefitting the people of del norte county? just an observation

I've been fortunate enough to witness interviews being conducted by different staff reporters from the Triplicate. The local people who were being interviewed were lying to these reporters. That was quite unfurtunate. The funny thing is that those lies appeared in the paper exactly stated. That's not a good thing.

Not so fond of this paper for a number of reasons. Recently, I found a free publication that posted the same story that The Triplicate was charging me to see online. I don't get it.
