We attended the New Year’s Eve Black Tie party at The Inn at Spanish Bay and had a marvelous experience overall.

The valet service was excellent; they assisted us with our car and even charged our Tesla during our stay. While waiting for our room, we dined at Roy’s. Despite the busyness, the service was attentive, and we enjoyed exploring the grounds until our room was ready.

The evening’s festivities were exceptional. The hotel was beautifully showcased with gorgeous floral arrangements and holiday decor. The food was fantastic, and the evening service was nearly flawless. It was one of the best black-tie events we’ve attended in terms of food quality and attentiveness, and we plan to return with friends next year.

After midnight, a delightful breakfast was served, and the open bar remained well-stocked, including an abundance of caviar. The event also featured a casino night, and we received party favors for the countdown.

However, there were a few minor issues. Upon arrival, we were given an option of a balcony or patio and we requested a balcony room but were assigned a room facing the parking lot without an outside seating area.

Additionally, on New Year’s Day morning, I went to order a latte and overnight oats around 11 a.m. The café was understaffed even with employees hustling and working diligently, leading to a 25-minute wait, which was challenging, especially for families standing in line with impatient children.

At around 9 a.m., housekeeping knocked on our door and woke us up, apparently under the impression that we had checked out. This was unexpected, particularly after a late night of celebrations.

Despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel provided a fantastic experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be looking forward to returning.

Overall had a really nice stay here. We got a partial scenic view room which I would argue was full scenic. We were quite impressed. The rooms were also spacious and had nice amenities like a fireplace and bench under the main window looking out over the golf course. The staff was also very friendly and eager to make sure you were having a nice stay. The only place where this fell short was in the small details. You’re paying a pretty penny to be there so I would expect everything to be top of the line. Things like the toilet paper and Kleenex in the rooms were thin paper, low quality. And we also intended to use the nice bathtub in the bathroom but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in several weeks so opted against. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Absolutely beautiful. Hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were all so friendly. Our stand out guy was Sam on bellman/valet parking he was just so lovely but also took time to get to know us, gave lots of recommendations to make our stay and travels better. Yeah it’s a bit pricey but that’s expected for this calibre of hotel. Lots of thoughtful Nik naks left for us, just the small things that make you smile. The views are just out of this world. Will 100% be back!

Check in was lovely. As we were escorted to our room, we were given an overview of the property. Our room was lovely. The bed was a little soft. The pillow menu and the snacks and soft drinks included were a nice touch. I enjoyed the sauna but the ladies locker room could use some more toiletries(razors, dental floss, etc...). Given the exorbitant amount they charge for minimum 3 day stay, you would think they could extend the lobby coffee past 9am! ||We golfed Pebble beach, Spyglass and Spanish Bay. I have been golfing 2+ years (24 handicap) and like to play fast! ||Pebble Beach was hard to see through the fog and our caddies were more of a hindrance than help! They drove carts with our bags on them!!! They had NO range finder!! When someone asks the yardage...they don't want an estimate - which was usually wrong!! Then when we asked for a club, they said "oh sorry I don't have that one, its back on the cart! " They had no intention of going back and getting what we wanted. So, I walked back to get it! I clocked 9 miles on my watch that day! Then to add insult to injury. you're charged $210 for the double bag caddie who did NOT carry a bag and on top of that they expect a $100 to $150 tip!! INSULTING. It was a VERY long 5 hour and 15 min round!||For Spyglass, we requested the caddies CARRY our bags. We were told by the proshop, caddies are independent contractors and we would have to ask them that?!?!? Anyway, we had two caddies that were better than the day before but AGAIN, everything was "about 20 yds" or "roughly 80 yards". Where we come from, Caddies are paid a lot less and are better trained! We had a painful 5 hour 30 min round. Its impossible to get a rhythm when you wait on EVERY SHOT.||Lastly, for Spanish Bay, we just took carts - no caddies! The GPS on the golf carts was accurate and it was the fastest of the 3 rounds clocking in just under 5 hours. woohoo! ||All courses are beautiful and unique and if you get a chance, go play them. ||For my money, I will go to Scotland or Ireland next time.

Absolutely wonderful place. The staff are so attentive, genuinely nice and everything is so thoughtful. Sam one of the Bellman/valet parking was just the loveliest and helpful all round good guy. Yeah it’s a bit pricey but that’s to be expected with this calibre of hotel. The rooms are beautiful, extremely comfortable. Will 100% be back.

Rustic, charming, calming, peaceful, scenic. Nicely maintained grass and cool breeze. People are relaxed and joyful, sitting at the fire tables, strolling, and of course playing golf. Also a terrific place to watch the sunset. ?

The Inn at Spanish Bay was exceptional. I was there for a couple of days as we hosted clients at a leadership summit. The property itself is beautiful, as is the scenery all around Pebble. What I was especially impressed by, though, was the service/hospitality. Every thing we needed at every single minute, it was just right there. In our personal guest rooms, in the conference rooms, at the front desk, the lobby bar, and the restaurants, the service was exceptional and definitely makes me want to get back as soon as possible.

Only there for an evening, so I can't rate the rooms, but the atmosphere is so relaxed. All kinds of people out on the back patio around the fire pits, making conversation. Absolutely DO time your presence so that you're out there when the piper comes out to play -- 5:45 to 6:30. If you come at a time of year when the sun is setting while he's playing, it's just that much better.
