I wish we could recommend more than 1 star, but our experience just hasn't been great . We purchased 1/4 of a cow with the anticipation that we'd be enjoying quality meat throughout the year, only to be disappointed over and over. It's a shame to have meat, that isn't acceptable for "company", or even for our own consumption.
When you consider the added weight of bones, the overwhelming amount of fat, and the overall toughness of the meat, to say the least, we would never purchase from this company again. The only meat we enjoyed and could actually use was the 30 plus pounds of hamburger meat. Just a shame for a $1000.+ ? Purchase.

I 10/10 recommend trying the TMG Sweet and Spicy seasoning asap. It's a staple in this house and so worth it, you won't regret it!! I use it on almost everything I cook, it's the perfect blend of spices and just the right amount of sweetness to add a yummy BBQ/Cajun flavor to any dish. ? I also really like the TMG dark rub when browning any roast or grilling a hamburger! These are hands down my favorite blend of seasonings.

We bought both the honey cured bacon and philly cheesesteak brats and will never buy from another butcher going forward. Absolutely the best bacon EVER and the brats are out of this world delicious. My only problem...was we didn't buy more! Won't make that mistake again.

Mike is professional, trustworthy and accommodating. An untimely refrigerator/freezer breakdown postponed my ability to receive the grass-fed half steer I’d ordered, and he made arrangements for the beef to stay safely frozen until I could finally take receipt of it today. Not only was he exceedingly patient and understanding about the frustrating delay, he listened attentively to, and obviously took note of, each request I made regarding cuts and degree of trimming — right down to the large bag of oxtail and other choice bones that I’ll roast and then simmer with vegetables and herbs for eventual skimmed and reduced bone broth frozen into cubes for soup base and sauces. It can be challenging finding such high-quality, locally-sourced meat and I appreciate Mike’s commitment to providing it to his customers’ specifications, along with his exemplary customer service. No more digging through unappetizing, preserved beef at sundry stores in the area and struggling to build nutritious, tasty meals around whatever I manage to find. I’m looking forward to shopping in my own freezer for a good, long while. And I can’t wait to check out the pork, rabbits and chickens he also offers, and the catfish I hope he will offer before long. Thanks for everything, Mike! No downside with That Meat Guy. Never met him before this, but he sure has gained a new customer!

Excellent meat and excellent service! Mike is very knowledgeable and friendly with his customers, he keeps you informed every step of the way. He also works with you on delivery! I have found the beef, pork, and lamb to be top notch in both taste and quality. Blows all the grass fed meats from your local grocery store out of the water.

The owner was super fast to respond and a pleasure to talk to. All local animal products and processed on site. They even offer dog food and bones! The quality of everything is excellent. We will be repeat customers. Highly recommend!
