Best Tire Shop Ever

Sunday morning, I was just leaving my house when I noticed that the low tire pressure light was on in my car. I drove back up the driveway and parked in front of the house. “Guess I’m not going anywhere today,” I thought to myself.

A little later in the day I asked some people who have lived in town for a long time to tell me the best place to get a tire fixed. They each gave me the same answer – Tallan’s Tires.

This will be the place I will go for anything related to tires for the following reasons.

• I asked more than one local person to recommend a tire shop, and I got the same answer each time.
• They are a local business.
• When I looked at Tallan’s website, I saw that although they generally were not open on Sunday, they would fix a flat on Sunday. I could wait until Monday, but that’s a real commitment to service.
• When I got to Tallan’s on Monday, the gentlemen there were friendly and courteous.
• They found the leak in my tire and fixed it quickly
• HERE’S THE BEST PART! They didn’t charge me anything to fix my tire.

When I need to purchase new tires for my vehicle, I know where I will be going. My experience there was entirely positive. I highly recommend this business.

The guys here are amazing! (Tristan, especially!!) We were in a rental car coming from Oregon out of the canyon and the air pressure was reading low in our tire. We stopped at Tallan's at 4:56pm (and they close at 5pm). They got us right in, and found two nails in our tire. They fixed them and we were done in about 10 minutes. We were soo appreciative that they were there and still open, and then Tristan said there was no charge! We couldn't believe it! Tristan is kind, skilled and knowledgeable. It was just obvious he is full of integrity. It was so refreshing to meet someone like him working so hard and being so good. (We were so grateful we couldn't not give him something to thank him....and again he kindly refused payment. Finally he took it when we told him to give it to his son. 🙂 Then he smiled, thanked us, took it and said he would put it in his son's riding fund.) What a great guy!! Thanks, again, Tristan! You were a miracle for us!

These guys are top tier. They were open on a Sunday when no one else in the area is. They were efficient and gave me a fair price on a used tire and install when we had a leaky tire on a long road trip. Friendly chit chat and old school small business feels made this experience fantastic when it could have been awful. Thanks, guys!

This is the best service I’ve had at an auto shop in Crescent City. The staff was realistic and fair about costs and timelines. Car was ready when it supposed to be. They did a quick follow up repair for free as well. I think they can get backed up with work at times, so be aware you may have a little longer wait than the bigger places, but the costs and professionalism are worth it.

Travelling from Canada.

I heard a noise in my front tire and I knew it was my sway bar link and that it had to be tightened. I initially stopped at Les Schwab (a corporate brand) and was told that it would be 1.5hrs and that I would have to go through the service process. I couldn’t wait because of scheduling, so I went to Talan’s Tires. The staff appeared busy but the owner of the company assisted me. He immediately grabbed some tools and tightened the sway bar link within 5 min. I offered to pay for his services and he graciously declined. This was truly a small town feel where a little help goes a long way. Thank you for your assistance and treating me like a small town friend.

Our travelling trip to LA Has been worry free so far. Thank you for your prompt assistance.
