Only complaint I have about this store is could the associates back off a little bit? They are very friendly and eager to help, however, when I come in I know what I need. I don't need help. As soon as I walk in I'm greeted with need any help? And I politely say no. Then the associate follows me around constantly bothering me. "Finding what you're looking for? Need any help?". I can't even look for what I need out of being anxious and nervous. I understand they're suppose to do that but it's way too much. It makes it uncomfortable to shop there. I will not return to this store for that reason alone. I was in the store yesterday for the last time and I had already told the associate I didn't need help. He followed me to the back ailse which makes you uncomfortable being watched but ok. He waits a minute or 2 then comes around asking if im finding everything, which I did because I knew what I needed. I was looking to see if there was a smaller size. The associate starts asking what I'm trying to do. So not wanting to be rude I told him I knew what I needed and I had it in my hand but he goes on to explain to me how you use it which made me feel stupid like just because im a woman I don't know what I have in my hand? I the he starts suggesting things I already told him I didn't need. I was also in a hurry and he wouldn't leave me alone to be on my way. I may have shopped around more if they wouldn't harrass you to death but I just wanted out of there. Worst shopping experience ever. Just maybe ask customers if they need help and if they say no go check on them after several mins. And if they still say no then leave them alone.

These are nice and beautiful marigolds but their is one difference in these plants. One is an African plant and the other is a French plant. The French plant you can get 6 plants for 5.98 or you can get the African plant for 5.48 that will have bigger blooms than the French ones will have on them. I have both of them but prefer to have the African ones instead.

Already tried fixing the toilet once, didn't work. Headed over to Ace and a young man quickly pointed me in the right direction and explained where I went wrong. He seemed happy to help, which is really nice! The store is clean and well maintained which is also a plus. It is so much easier to go here vs a big box store.

Our shower faucet was leaking VERY badly. To make it even worse, I broke one of the parts while taking it apart to inspect it. No problem, I'll just shoot down to the local hardware store and pick up another one, right? Nupe, I looked all over town for the part with no success and my wife called multiple places in towns nearby... nothing. I Googled the part number and it showed that these folks had it in stock... 53 miles from me. I called to be sure and they quickly checked their inventory and told me they had two in stock and I left. A little while later, my wife called back and told them I wasn't sure if I could make there before closing and the manager said she would wait on me. She didn't have to, I got there 10-15 minutes before closing, but it was nice she offered. Both of the young ladies we spoke with were super helpful and very nice. I didn't get to look around... I was only in the store less than a minute and on my way back home to a hot shower after a VERY long day! Thank you!

My first time here not only did i get paint and the hardware i needed i was able to enjoy homemade peach ice cream! It was delicious ken was very helpful to have been caught on his lunch break i felt bad for interrupting his time but he was very helpful and didn't try to rush me along like most associates in other stores would. Will definitely be back ?

Excellent customer service. Greeted at the door with a hello and smile. Friendly service throughout my visit. Answered all my questions wasn't pushing me to buy just very informative. Only place in the area to have a simple light fixture. Sadly it was my last stop next time it will be the first. WELL DONE TALLADEGA ACE HARDWARE EMPLOYEE'S EXCELLENT JOB!!!!

Biggest complaint is the hours that they are open. I work next to one in Birmingham and when moving here I was hoping for the same convenience, they close everyday at 5pm. Every single day, 5pm. It isn’t convenient to those who do work normal working hours. Thankfully talladega does have a Marvin’s and they are even open on Sunday’s.
