This company will take a MONTH to install your meter and cut your power on for a new construction home after you receive your Certificate of Occupancy. Expensive as all get out, literally never answers the phones, just doesn't care because they know we don't have a choice but to use them. If you can choose not to move or live somewhere serviced by them, please do so, for your own sake. I am now moving everything but the essentials into my new home because it won't have electricity until a month from now, and I've already paid my deposit and set up my account with them. Literally just need a meter installed and power cut on and I'm not scheduled for a month.

Incredible service. Friendly technicians. We went from no power and a pole down to up and running within hours of our phone call. It's the day before Thanksgiving. We thought we wouldn't have power until next week. That's great service!! Special thanks to Evan, a true professional, for making it happen.

I’m so tired of our power going out for no reason. I’m so tired of dealing with a power company that doesn’t maintain or improve its infrastructure. Just because we live in the country, that doesn’t mean we deserve to be taken advantage of. I wish someone would hold this company accountable for their BS. But because they’re a cooperative, nobody can touch them.

*Update: Just experienced Helene. Wonderful experience. I notified them right after the storm that the power line that connects us to the power pole was ripped out during the storm. What do they do? They turned the power on and left our house to be the only house on our street with no power. If I could leave zero stars I would.* Absolutely terrible. My power can go out when the sun is out with no clouds in the sky. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I moved here with my wife to closer to her family and I honestly think this was the worst mistake of our lives. I hate living in Suwannee County. I feel like Job just no reward on the horizon just more pain.

A customer friendly, service oriented, efficient power company. Ive had three occasions where I lost power due to storms causing trees to fall on power lines. All three times, within days, I got power back where I expected to wait weeks because of the amount of lines down. I also love that they are instituting alternative power production solutions like solar power generation that is much more ecofriendly.

We had the high fiber internet installed the week before our outage. We thought maybe they just plugged something in that tripped the breaker. We did a lot of our own troubleshooting and when we finally wrote on app that our service was out, we were not expecting less then an hour we would have a tech at our door. It being Sunday, we were planning on it being out for an extended time. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I don’t write many reviews but felt the need to here. Thank you!

I want to thank Suwannee Valley Electric for the excellent job of getting our service up after the hurricane. To get our service restored after 4 days with hundreds of poles down, was a great accomplishment.

Really pleased with the level of customer service. Thanks for patiently explaining the process of getting our power turned on. We're also looking forward to the fiber optics. 😉
