I had to have my pendants in my kitchen fixed due to faulty home builders and Patrick came out right away and made them sturdy and the ceiling look brand new. He showed me the broken ones, replaced them and a final picture. Not only was the service exceptional but he is a veteran and I really love supporting businesses that put veterans first! Review for Surfside Electric
I recently hired Surfside Electrical to diagnose and repair a GFI outlet in my home. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Please note, I very seldom leave a review for a company good or bad, but I feel this experience warranted a review. Please see images for visual evidence.

Pricing: Surfside charged me $225, which I found quite steep for a simple diagnosis/installation of a GFI outlet. However, I agreed to the work upon the assumption the work would be professional and correctly done.

Workmanship: The outlet cover was installed crooked, which is both unprofessional and unsightly for a simple installation. It’s disappointing that they didn’t take the time to ensure proper alignment. The simple installation of an outlet was not left flush and crooked. See image.

Customer Service: When we raised concerns, the response from their customer service was lackluster. They offered to come out and fix the alignment and excused the technician by stating “he asked if everything looked good” unfortunately my wife did not see the crookedness from her perspective and assumed a simple outlet installation would be installed correctly. We declined as it’s a simple fix, and one that should have been corrected in the initial install.

MSC: We asked for a quote to fix a recent remodel and a plug/electrical line that needs capping and remounting. After declining based on the price of the quote the technician left the wires and outlet pulled from the wall. I understand the technicians need to remove and get a better look at the outlet but not putting it back the way it was is lazy. The wires and plug were neatly tied and placed in the wall awaiting repair prior to Surfside, but the technician left it in a mess which is unsightly, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. It should have been left the way it was found. The reply or excuse was “the technician assumed we would put it back”. See image.

Overall, I cannot recommend Surfside Electric based on my experience. I expected better quality workmanship, professional courtesy, and better communication for the price I paid.

Jake did an excellent job diagnosing and explaining my generator issue. He showed me what I could do if it occurred again He was borough and efficient. I highly recommend him and appreciate prompt response

Gary Hall with Surfside is an amazing person! He was very professional and prompt, went the "extra mile " answering questions and checking everything out! I initially called about a generator and wound up asking for a quote for a new A/C system that I am in need of. Would ? recommend him and this company, actually did this afternoon to one of my customers!

We would just like to say that Andrew with Surfside electrical this company is totally amazing they were on time very accurate very friendly told us everything from point a to point B back to point a to point B so that we knew everything that they were doing make sure that everything was done correctly by code and was very reasonable I would use this company again and again and highly recommend them thank you Surfside we really appreciate the work that you did for us and we'll be using you again in the future
