We used David again for some repairs and projects that we recently did on our home. He came down to the Bay Area and stayed for a few days and did the following work:
1. put up new plywood storage shelves in the rafters of our garage, as well as reinforcing the shelves with support arms up to the roof rafters that literally makes these shelves where you can walk on them if you need to!
2. installed a 50amp sub-panel in the garage and rewired the garage for us, so that we could get rid of all of our nightmare and unsafe extension cords everywhere! Installed dedicated breakers and plugs for a heater that we have in the garage, as well as installed a strip of plugs on a separate breaker just for my power tools! "Arr-Arr-Arr!"
3. installed a dedicated plug under the front and rear rafters of our home for us to use when we put up our Christmas lights! No more unsightly extension cords for us! YEAH!
4. installed 2 Exterior LED flood lights in the back yard, with one shining right down on top of our BBQ and the other lights up the entire patio table, so we can turn it on to clear the table after we've finished eating out back with candle light! Both lights have dedicated switches so they can be turned on independently.
5. he demoed and removed a little 2 foot wide pony wall that stuck out between our living room and dining room....that was useless and blocked us from seeing our big screen TV when eating dinner.....not that we watch TV all the time when we eat dinner, cause we don't....but this is now very handy when watching the SF Giants play a night game while eating together as a family. Go Giants!
At the end of the day, these were all tasks that had been on my to-do list for about 5 years and after David knocked them out in 3 days, I was standing there in awe wondering why I had waited so long to get them done?! Then it occurred to me....the reason was that I couldn't find anyone that I could trust to show up on time and do this work without feeling like I was getting taken advantage of!
Bottom line....if you want work done at your home the right and honest way, give David a call....after having been jacked around by numerous contractors over the years, you'll be glad you finally found someone like David....I promise!
