I think this place is great I know everyone has there own opinion and experiences at places but I am a hotshot and everytime iv come through this place they treat me really well, one instant the company didn't submit there PO number before I arrived and it happend to be really busy that day, truck after truck were pulling in behind me so I didn't want to hold anybody els up so I pulled around and went to the back of the line, while I was in the back the PO number was pushed through so instead of making me wait until I got to the front, they loaded me up with there crane and just had me reverse out the background me on the road and probably saved me about a hour if I were to wait until I got to the front of the line, I thought that was pretty awesome of those guys, and that is just one of many good experiences iv had at superior steel supply.

Had to buy 1 stick of 3 x 3 x 1/4in. At the counter I asked the lady if I could get them cut she said yes. Mind you never told me there would be an additional price. Which I wouldn't of cared anyway. I said I needed it cut 2 times. At 6ft 6 2 times. Which would leave me 7 ft. She told me to pull around and tell the guys what you want it cut at. So I wait pull up and tell them my name and tell them I need 2 cuts. After a minute I felt something wrong so I asked a guy I need that piece cut specifically. They said talk to the guy in the white shirt. So I walk over he already cut it told me to take it up with inside. Go inside tell them what happen. They tell me it's cut its yours. After about 5 minutes. Of trying to talk to them about how they screwed up and were completely unwilling to do anything except to say I have to buy another piece. Horrible customer service and listening skills. Let's just say I will not be going back and I will be happy to advertise on there behalf about how wonderful customer service they have.

This place looked to be great. Sure its an older building but they seem to have a good run on their performance. I like the setup for driving through for orders and for a small business owner, they were able to accommodate my order where other local companies have not been able. They're trying to be fair with their product yield so everyone gets a bit of product to keep business moving. After 2 months of waiting, they have been the ones to help fill my order. Ill be back Superior.

I've been dealing with Superior for about a year now and they always have the best price on (basic) steel. I would agree with some of the other reviews as the customer service at the front count is a little lacking at times, but I've never had an issue with them. They deal primarily with other businesses and not so much with walk-ins. I would recommend this place for sure on steel prices alone

Read all the reviews and decided to try it anyway, worst case scenario I walk. Well, they were good, helpful, but not overly warm and welcoming when i came in. Wait time 10 minutes: BONUStook longer because they took the time to find a piece (2x 4 steel rectangular tube) size that was better suited for my needs and saved me money. I would go back if I am in that area and need something. Just my two cents

They are the slowest place at unloading. I have never had to sit 5 damn hrs to unload. Granted it was raining when i got there, couldn't untarp, but still the fact to sit for that long is bad. I suggest you pack a lunch if you ever go there..

I called Superior Steel for a quote and asked the sales person some very simple questions. The sales person lashed out at me and was rude and insulting. I am amazed that the staff and management find it acceptable to treat customers with such corrosive abuse. I went to read the reviews on this company and saw that I was not the only one who had received this kind of service. I run my own business and never in a thousand years would speak to my customers the way these people spoke to me. Truly despicable type of treatment. I will never call this company again.

Busy. But the gentleman in the yard was pleasant. And the front desk staff was nice. But I walked in as a nice guy, I'm sure if I was an as*hole, they would have been quick to respond accordingly.
