I was shopping for a new reel for my surf fishing rod. The gentleman looked up my rod, asked about where I was fishing and matched up a reel to match my needs. His knowledge was incredible and took his time explaining the differences between the different makes and weights available. My experience couldn’t have been better. I matched the price online and it was the same or less than anywhere I could find. He helped me select some lures, and gave me some suggestions. A terrific experience.

Sunshine ACE Hardware on East Trail is AWESOME.
Jeannette, one of the sales associates is awesome and will go above and beyond to help you with your needs.
I really enjoy shopping at this ACE Hardware location. It's always clean and neat and everyone in the store aims to please - especially Jeannette!
ACE has great prices and is not overwhelming like a lot of the other home improvement mega stores.

Michael at the Ace store on 41 s. was very helpful after Hurricane Milton. His store was out of a generator cord I needed. After checking with other Ace stores he took me to other departments to look for other options. He soon offered his personal cord for me to use until the store was able to deliver a new supply. Thanks Ace hardware for hiring such a helpful individual.

Just got back from Ace Hardware (the one on Rt 41 just past Rattlesnake), and as always, had a very pleasant experience. Going to Lowe's or Home Depot has become such a unpleasant and frustrating experience, while I always find what I need at Ace. The staff is at least pleasant , and most of the time, terrific. Today I was buying fishing equipment and Mason was friendly, pleasant, very knowledgeable, and patient. It was a delight. And my experience has been all the Ace stores are like that, even the one I used to go to in Maine.

Everytime I go into Ace, especially “My Sunshine Ace”, it’s an absolute pleasure. I actually look forward to it. Today, my son and I were there as soon as the doors opened at 9am. We were taking the boat out with his friends and planning a day of adventure-SHARK FISHING! Haha I’m a local charter captain (strictly boat tours) although very seasoned in fishing, shark fishing isn’t something you do everyday!
Michael, a friggin awesome employee at Ace, approached us as we shopped down the fishing isles. He started with just some friendly conversation about NLBNs with my 13 year old son, then was kind enough to help me navigate the things that I needed. He had great recommendations and made me feel really confident in the adventure I was just about to embark on with my son and his friends! He had mentioned to my son he had just received his personal order of NLBNs, the box was sitting in his truck and he didn’t even open it yet. He left us for a few minutes and then all of a sudden he was back with his own personal box of gear he had ordered from the NLBN online store!
He then brought us over to the counter, opened the box and proceeded to hand my son a BRAND NEW box of limited batch NLBNs and also a bag of 3 jig heads that go along with them. Anyone familiar with purchasing these items, if you were to order those two things online, with shipping the order would be over $25!
He gave them to my son FOR FREE!
Seriously, his own new goodies and hard earned money to a kid he just met 5 minutes before! What a blessing he was to us this morning. Not to mention the beautiful example he set for my son in generosity and kindness. With the world we live in today, those qualities are being lost beneath greediness, hatred and anger.
I wanted to take the time to make sure Michael was acknowledged for not only his knowledge in fishing but also for his beautiful act of unfiltered humanity. The way we all should be and treat each other. He’s just another reason and another person I walk into Sunshine Ace for at least 4-10 times a month! Thank you Michael! We look forward to seeing you again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great prices. They have handicapped parking and automatic doors which makes it easier to get into with a wheelchair. They also offer a knife sharpening service
