Good spot if you know the area and are willing to walk for a swim spot.

Not kept up by the city and people use it for a dump spot.

Plenty of fishing spots and there is a trail. Parking is available

It's a good place to hang out and fish or swim.
Really don't understand how the county and cuties Sutter and yuba county,
The city of Marysville CA
Can keep public access to the water way's locked up.
They have no access to the river ways for the disabled to gain access to enjoy themselves at the river.
Love to see the people of the water Way's and the disabled to sue the counties involved to open public access to water way's and make disabled access to we deserve to enjoy are self to be able to cool off and experience the views of the river

Formerly overrun by motor vehicles, Star Bend has made a bit of a turnaround over the last year. Trash, broken glass, pools of motor oil and human excrement have been greatly reduced. It is currently a good place to take a walk by the river, fish and boat. If the county can continue to prevent it from being overrun by motor vehicles, and the community can show respect and value for the land, it will be a fantastic place to experience the outdoors.

Great spot to go fishing, and hiking. Depending on the time of year great sandy spots along the river to hang out with tones of wildlife. The water is fast moving in this area thought so be safe If you swim here.

I'm only giving this 3 stars, not because it is lacking in natural beauty, but rather the people that come to so-called enjoy this place leave their trash everywhere. I believe this is why fishermen get a bad rap for being pigs. You can often be hiking along one of the trails or riding your bike or via a horse and find what looks like abandoned homeless encampments, coupled with beer cans and trash that is Left Behind. The parking lot has a dumpster and I'm very disappointed as a local to see that so many people from my Plumas Lake Community come here and dump their trash not in the can but in the parking lot. You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is the very environment where our children will have to live and you are literally throwing trash into it for them to clean up in their future. I wish the county would do something about cleaning up this area and patrolling it so that it is a safe environment for the Plumas Lake and surrounding communities to enjoy once again. Even volunteer days would be a great idea. I'm sure like-minded people from my community would be happy to chip in. My car can only fit so much in it and I don't really have a place to put things other than the fact that anytime my daughter and I go to a beach we bring a trash bag and pick up whatever we find and put it in our toter at home. The rules are simple. Pack it in and pack it out. Leave no trace. And take nothing but memories.

There's another side I think boats can be launched from the left but this is the right side that looks pretty much impossible to launch a boat. No bathrooms, place filled with trash... I mean it's disgusting. The only thing it's got is an open parking lot basically.

This used to be a great place to park and walk down to the river, but now it's a dangerous place to leave your vehicle!
