I've been going to Kevin and his team at SMP for over 8 years for various quick lead time part requests and he's been amazing. Generally anything I need that's cut on water jet or a quick CNC job I can rely on Kevin and SMP to get it done.

Out of all the fabrication shops I have worked with in the Bay Area, SMP is the only shop that I trust. If I had a nickle for every time they delivered a fast, high quality cut or fabricated piece I would be able to buy my own water jet machine, and even then I would still come back to SMP. They are easy to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, and turn stuff around FAST.

I've been ordering parts and working with Kevin at SMP for over 15 years. My museum has utilized his shop for over 20 years. The knowledge and capabilities at SMP are increasingly rare in the City, and the shop itself is a testament to old school know how. Kevin and his staff have deep knowledge of fabrication processes, often working with me directly on the design if any questions arise. This place is such a gem, it's remarkable that it's still in the City.
