I have stayed twice, two rooms each time. The rooms are really excellent and well maintained. The breakfast attendants were incredibly fast and helpful (some of the best I've seen). Housekeeping was also very helpful to my mom and efficient. Great experience for the price.

Wonderful place. I’ve been a few times with my pup.
However this time I could NOT drop the temp below a certain point in my room which was really annoying. One of the perks of a hotel is being able to drop the temp and hibernate. I understand wanting to save energy however it was a let down.

Heater in room was either boiling us or we were freezing. They had no washer tabs left, I had to run to the gas station to pick some up. Thin blankets. We know that because the room was freezing.
It was clean
Staff was nice 👍
Breakfast was gross, but that’s a norm for any hotel. It was edible, staff were keeping it cleaned and stocked that’s appreciated.
Over all I’ve been in worse hotels, but it did have a few things that sucked. Being cold or dying of heat made it hard to sleep

A nice place to stay in the Land O Lakes area.
SpringHill Suites, a brand under the Marriott umbrella, was founded in 1998 from a desire to offer travelers a refreshing and innovative lodging experience. It quickly gained popularity for its contemporary design, spacious suites, and excellent service and, as of 2021 had over 500 hotels. There are several of these hotels in Florida. This particular one is located on the northeast side of SR 54 and Suncoast Parkway intersection. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. There is plenty of parking around the hotel. The hallways look very new in their design and are bright and clean. We got an upper floor room. The rooms are single-room suites with a desk with a wall between the bedroom/bathroom and the sitting area. The sitting area comes with a couch, desk and small kitchen arrangement. There is a single TV shared between both spaces. The room seemed well-kept and functional. There are many hotel choices in the area and it is close to several restaurant choices which made it convenient for our stay for the quality and the price. There was only one challenge to my stay there. We asked for our room to be cleaned daily and it did not get cleaned at any point in our multi-day stay. We had to ask for towels each day and the front desk staff seemed questioning when I informed them of the issue. Still, the room was nice, the location is convenient making this a good choice for staying in this area.

The Staff Here is Excellent; very friendly & helpful. They make sure you are comfortable & if they can do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. Prescilla is Awesome very courteous, polite & helpful. David at the front desk is exceptional. Douglas, Jasmine & Nora all ready to assist. Prescilla also bartends & prepares our dinner! Everything is terrific.
Cheryl bartends and makes your evening seamless & fun! Breakfast Crew is over the top; Rita & Nancy make breakfast pleasant & yummy! Housekeeping is unprecedented! The Staff made our stay feel like home!

Simply put... Springhill Suites Marriot is a full service hotel that is staffed wonderfully with some great people.
We were forced out due to hurricane Milton and chose to try this hotel and could not have been happier with the room and general atmosphere.
The manager Doug was very gracious and professional and took the time many times throughout our 4 day stay to make sure everything was up to par.
We found out that he has extensive Hotel experience including dealing with storm situations and was on hand throughout our experience.
The front desk was staffed by multiple great people who were extremely helpful especially Erica.
Housekeeping was excellent and staffed with very friendly great people who took the time to make sure we had everything perfect.
The hotel has a bar that had a good vibe with excellent service by Cheryl who we had a fun great time with talking and laughing.
We have been Marriot fans for a long time and have stayed at many but this one was truly the best that we have personally experienced.
The rooms were very clean and amenities in good condition they were larger than normal including the oversized bathroom.
Everything you would expect from a good hotel is here including the absolutely wonderful down to earth staff.
Even with the threat of a major hurricane bearing down on us they did what needed to be done which put us at ease and
enabled us to relax and unwind a bit considering the circumstances.

We would really like to emphasize the whole staff including room service and helping crew and how great and professional they are.
They are TRULY a great group of people headed up by a great manager and act like a large family.
We thank each and every one of you for making a bad situation not only more tolerable but over all much better than one would expect.
We fell in love with you guys and consider you all now friends.
Kudos to each of you for your job super well done.

I recently made a booking at SpringHill Suites Tampa Suncoast Parkway during a stressful time when my foster and disabled children from group homes in mandatory evacuation zones needed safe shelter due to a hurricane. In the urgency of the situation, I accidentally booked too many rooms. When I realized the mistake, I contacted Booking.com, who reached out to the hotel on my behalf to request the cancellation of the unused rooms and a refund due to the circumstances. Unfortunately, the hotel did not approve the cancellation or provide a refund for the 5 rooms that were never checked in.

This was deeply disappointing, especially during an emergency situation where compassion and flexibility are needed most. It’s unfortunate that our experience during such a challenging time was impacted by this lack of understanding.
