I have been working with Spin for about 4 years. I recently moved my business to another manufacturer which is when the big issues started.
- They manufactured over 200 parts when there was never supposed to be anymore than 60, at any one time. I had to pay for all of the product above and beyond the agreement or they would not release my mold so I could continue to make product.
- The product was poorly finished and I have not been refunded for the defective product
- The cast to create the mold was lost by Spin and they will not reimburse me, nor have it re-made.
- 3 quality returns/replacements were not reimbursed, I was charged twice for each order. They always told me that it would reflect on the next invoice and it never was.
- 6 orders were not fulfilled, and a stop was put on my account so they could not be fulfilled. I found out weeks after the orders were supposed to go out.
During my business with them they were bought out by a larger holding company. Spin is no longer able to answer for themselves, and requires corporate to make all decisions. The corporate office is not in the same state. Because Spin cannot produce the receipt for my lost part, they said they will not entertain any reimbursement. They acknowledge that my mold they have been making parts with was received, but will not produce the documents showing receipt of the parts. The documents will show that my cast was part of the shipment. That's almost $10,000 I've lost because of them.
This company is in no way a professional operation. I would not recommend doing business with Spin, or Tank Holdings (their owner). They sound very professional on the phone and will tell you they can do it all, give you a reasonable rate, and they will tell you they are so great.
Do NOT do business with this company.
Good luck with getting an accurate inventory count, good luck not spending over the agreed upon amount, good luck getting any help from them if you have an issue, and God help you if you try to leave them.
