New to the area, I was looking for a welding shop to fix my favorite lawn ornament (a praying mantis whose large marbles for eyes would not stay in place). My ornament was a gift and is very special to me, so I chose Southern Welding because they were close to home, they had good reviews, and they could weld aluminum. Little did I know that my ornament was copper!

Wes told me I only needed a little stretch of the existing copper to seat the marble eyes and a dab of specialty glue to make my praying mantis whole again. Talk about honesty! Most shops don't want to take on such a small repair, but Wes was glad to help. He had it ready the next day, as promised, and at a very fair price.

If you are looking for Southern Welding, make sure to GO AROUND THE CURVE on Manko Drive in Hernando, off 41. You will be glad you did.

We bought a patio table but the umbrella hole was too small for the umbrella we purchased. Wes was able to enlarge it to the right size in under an hour. Extremely professional and just really polite. I would strongly recommend him for any welding or fabrication needs. Would give 10 stars if I could!!

Great place, he took care of my Pontoon boat right away. He did Aluminum welding for me. Great job. I highly recommend this place. He is at the end of the road, you have to go by another welding shop on the same road. I recommend going to the end of the road.
