Absolutely love this butcher shop!!! There's not a single item we've ever had that we didn't love! The Argentine steak tips and pork chops are amazing, and our absolute favorite. Recently, we had the slightest misunderstanding, and before I had a chance to realize that we had bought someone else's order, they had called and texted me to let me know they wanted to make it right.
They were our favorite before this happened, and the honest way they approached this is exactly why we will continue to love them! You don't get the quality, selection, and service like this from a big box store. Support local business, like this one and there's no possibility of disappointment.

Southern Steer is the best! We loved their Tomahawk and Wagyu Sirloin steaks. The marinated chicken is awesome… and the breasts are HUGE! Their team (Shay, Krista and Megan) always provides the best customer service. We will definitely be back.

The owners Shay and Krista are on site and so knowledgeable about the meats and sides. The quality is great and we love going here. The sides are delicious and made in the store. They always have specials. Definitely stop in because you won't be disappointed.

The butter garlic marinade chicken breast was the best ever! Absolutely infused throughout the breast, cooked in the air fryer to perfection juice was pouring out through every bite! 😋

100% worth the drive from Lakewood Ranch to my now favorite (more than your average) butcher shop! Several friends have raved about the marinated meat they get from here. I’m usually not a fan of marinated meats because I like to do that myself but they have a unique process they use with their marinating machine (I just made that up because I don’t know what it’s called but I know what it does! Anyway, the owners are very friendly and they have premium meats and a big selection of rubs, marinades, sides and pre-prepped appetizers. They had the Australian Roast Lamb that I had been looking for all over town for and some gorgeous bone in rib-eye’s, all cut to the exact same thickness, which will make my husband very happy when he grills them. They also have a VIP list that I joined to receive special offers, customer appreciation events and notifications of when seasonal products are in. Ask for Krista and she will take great care of you.

Love this shop! All the staff are wonderful especially Sandy she is welcoming and friendly even when I run into her outside of the shop. The package deals are priced great and you can’t beat the daily special prices. I was helping with a a charity event someone that is sick and I mentioned it in casual conversation the owner asked what the event was for and didn’t hesitate to donate an expensive meal package to help raise money for the silent auction we were doing. I’ve never had a bad experience or know of anyone who has either.
