Finally after several attempts and several hundred dollars on my end Alfred from SCE fixed the ongoing issue with our power. He should be promoted for taking the slack of the poor service and customer support the rest of the ppl that work there. We've been having power surges and one leg of the power coming from the meter was dropping below 30v's causing us to loose AC units, box fans, ceiling fans, and refrigerator. We have had previous technicians come out and do nothing more than say "it could be trees on the lines", "your on the end of the line"or "if your neighbor is having the same issues call us back". I'm fully disabled and have been dealing with half of our home dropping power and recently lost everything in our refrigerator. When the rude lady called me back she kept saying that if it's not their side then we will be charged extra fees, after Alfred got his boom cut back several limbs and small trees that were on the line and found a bad connection on their pole so he fixed it. I don't know how many times I've tried to get them to fix this problem but I've spent way more money paying for service and replacing everything with a motor that runs on three phases. It's sad that we do not have any other choice but to use them. I've never had any clerk talk to me that wasn't rude and disrespectful.

Trash company , literally neighbors within stones throw have power from another provider 12 hours later sun is out birds are chirpping but generator noise fills the void of powerless customers. I've been with this trash company since 2010 and have had 16,839,083 outages most outages only happen on picture perfect days NO HELP FROM THIS TRASH COMPANY

First experience with SCAEC for their fiber connect wifi and digital phone service. The experience has been very good so far and everyone from customer service to digital support as well as installation; has been prompt and very courteous. The plans are very affordable and the service is fantastic for both wifi and digital phone service. Highly recommend their available services.

This is the worst damn company ever the power just constantly goes off for no reason even when no rain or storm is affecting it everytime that you call to try to report an outage there is never no details or estimated time when they will be back on I'm so sick of this damn company I've really got to make some changes soon if I could give 0 stars that definitely have earned it.

The customer service is pitiful. I don’t think anyone that I’ve interacted with actually knows how to do their job. They are also just downright unpleasant. They act like it’s a bother to answer the phone and answer the questions of the people that literally keep them in business. I’ve been waiting for someone to come and set up my wifi for about two months, nobody can give me an eta or a single update of when someone will be out, (isn’t that kind of their job?) then they have the audacity to say “anything else I can help you with?”. like you haven’t even helped me with anything yet. Not to mention also, it took them forever just for them to get my lights turned on in my house. Moral of the story, if you have other options, choose them. South central, there’s a reason you guys have a 2 star review. Do better.

This company suffers more power outages than Entergy in Cabot. The only time the power came out in Cabot was from really bad storms, it can be a nice sunny day and the power will go out here in Arkadelphia. If you like not having power, then this is the company for you, if not, then don't even bother. Not to mention the staff is very rude. I get being miserable in a customer service job, since I have worked in customer service before, but you shouldn't treat your customers like this, especially when they're being nice. If the customer is being disrespectful then yeah go off, but if the customer was just asking nicely about the ETA of the power coming back on, then don't be mean. Entergy is so much better, take your money to them not this cheap rude service.

No help in getting my son’s name added to the electric bill- said his name is on account but won’t print on the bill. Needed it on the bill for work/ per diem. Sure wish there was another electric company to compete with this one because I would switch in a heartbeat. Not polite or willing to help customers. They talk to you like you’re stupid.

I feel as though I am paying for my power to be out. No matter the weather the power will ALWAYS go out at least 1-2 times a month. If you work from him (like my bf and i) GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN HERE!! They never have an explanation or an estimated time of it coming back on. 0/10
