I absolutely love Sophie James wine! Not only do they taste amazing, but you never get that wine hangover that you would with other wines. I’m not a huge red wine fan but SJ Pinot Noir and Cuvée are amazing! My favorite is the Sauvignon Blanc though. The flavors in that are amazing! I try to convince my family and friends to join the SJ wine club all the time! If you’re on the fence about joining the SJ wine club, just give it a try… I contemplated it too and now I can’t wait for each shipment to arrive. I promise, you will not regret joining!

I had followed Sophie James wines for many months, before I gave it a try in 2024. Started DMing a “very friendly and knowledgeable” person about their wines. She was asking me what I like to drink and describing each of their wines with specific notes of flavor! Little did I know, not until the next day, it was actually Sophie, herself, explaining it ALL to me! Really!!? Customer service is top notch! These wines are amazing; flavorful, crisp, refreshing! And no headaches the next morning! So thankful for your passion for continuing the organic farming of your wines! Packaging is so lovely!. So looking forward to our next shipment! I LOVE Sophie James Wine because from the moment the package arrives you feel the love and appreciation for your purchase. A small bunch of dried flowers are inside the box to make you feel special. Then opening the bottle and the amazing aroma gets the senses going and BAM the first sip. It’s an indescribable moment of bliss. Sophie James Wines are special purchases that remind me I am worth it.

I have absolutely fallen in love with Sophie James wines! It is hard to go back to other wines now that I have experienced them. I love the clean, delicious tastes of each wine and how I don’t get a headache after enjoying a glass or 2 like I would normally with other wines. Not to mention their beautiful packaging!😍

My husband and I love dry red wines and are always searching for new brands to try. We have two staples brands that we drink for nicer occasions and hardly deviate from them because of how much we love them. However, after seeing some other people on instagram rave about Sophie James wine, I was very intrigued.

I started following their account and just watched their stories and learned about their wines for a little over a year! I love how Sophie does tastings in her stories and describes all the notes in each of her wines. At this point, I was still hesitant to make the leap to purchase their wine. I do not like fruity wine or anything too sweet. A lot of the overly positive reviews were on her white wines which I typically don’t drink.

I messaged their team on instagram one day to see what their membership included and what the price breakdown was. With no commitment needed, I decided to take the leap! Sophie was so helpful in guiding me to which package and which wines would be best based on what flavors I lean toward. Some of the wines in the box would not be anything my husband or I would typically pick.

When the first welcome package arrived, I was so ecstatic I opened the “safest” option, the Pinot noir, that night. My husband was very skeptical and did not think these wines would even come close to what we like. We agreed that worst case we’d have a nice selection for when guests come over.

The first bottle was SO INCREDIBLE that we opened a second bottle the same night!! We loved each and every bottle for different reasons. Even the rose, which we would never drink, we absolutely LOVED.

We just opened the last bottle the other night and my husband sang Sophie James praises once again. He was so excited that I found an incredible company with an incredible mission and an incredible wine selection!

If you are on the fence, please trust me when I say to just try them once! Also, try one outside of your comfort zone— you will be pleasantly surprised !

Lastly, the cherry on top is that you do not feel hungover or gross the next day at all with their wines having zero sugar! A very nice added bonus to their wonderful flavor!

I had the pleasure of trying my very first bottle of Sophie James wine for Thanksgiving with my family. It came packaged so beautifully and I was dying to try it! We had the Pinot Noir and it was AMAZING! It paired well with every dish and my whole family complimented it, which for family is surprising! 🙂 It wasn’t sweet, but just had the pure taste of the fruit, and SO easy to drink. And, to make things better, I felt just fine the next day. I had a few glasses and I had zero headache! I have had many different wines over the years, and this is one of the very few that didn’t make me reach for Tylenol the next day. Thank you so much Sophie James for making fantastic wine!! I can’t wait to try more!!

I absolutely love Sophie James Wine!!! I initially wanted to try it because of the reviews about no added sugar, organic, not giving headaches, etc. but honestly did not have high expectations considering all of that. However, I was blown away with the taste! It’s legitimately my favorite wine and all of those other things ended up being bonuses.

My last order was damaged in shipping and I got a notification that it was being returned to sender before it arrived. I wasn’t sure what the process was for something like that and reached out and discovered how friendly and easy to work with they were as well. They shipped me out a new order before the old one was even returned to them. Amazing wine, amazing customer service, beautiful packaging and supporting a family-owned business. Everything about this feels good! 💖

I had been hearing about Sophie James wine for a while through various influencers I followed- the social media team is obviously tops and I’m a marketing teacher so I appreciated the efforts! I kept trying to enter giveaways because I’ve always wanted to go to wine country, and I considered becoming a member but was pregnant and then nursing for over two years and kept putting it off not wanting to invest in bottles of wine I might not get to enjoy. I finally pulled the trigger in early 2024 when I realized that while the price tag was steeper than I would normally spend on a bottle (and thinking I was not at all a wine snob, so would it even be worth it?), that I wanted to at least try for the presentation alone and as a treat.

To my surprise, I AM in fact a total wine snob and now try to keep my wine consumption and even overall alcohol consumption to just Sophie James. I even bring my own bottles to events- of course to share, but also to make sure the glass or two I have is tasty and I won’t have lingering effects as a toddler mom in the morning! After trying Sophie James I started hearing about Cameron Diaz’s attempt at organic wine and tried a case from Avaline as well. The wines were okay (though the sparkling was NOT it) but I realized I’d only get the best experience drinking Sophie James and have since received my normal member shipment for summer (easily switching to the all white club for both season and to try more vintages) and then went ahead and ordered an entire custom case of 12 for the free shipping deal and to take me through the holidays.

Never have I been so impressed with a glass of wine or with a company as with Sophie James. Even my friend who is a Sauvignon Blanc “has to be from New Zealand” snob agrees Sophie’s is actually the best (also coming from someone who didn’t even like SB til my first SJ bottle!)

Overall I would say the Rose is the absolute best, but as noted the SB is a favorite and I love the Pinot Noir and Couvee as well. The Chardonnay paired so well with turkey on Thanksgiving too!

I’m still hoping to make it to wine country some day, and that Sophie James will have a tasting room to stop by!
