The Harbor master flipped the breakers in the parking lot to prevent us from charging our rental EV while we were here for the week. 7 nights of moorage in Sitka isn’t cheap. You know what cost less than a cup of coffee? Charging a Nissan Leaf.

Left my favorite rainjacket on a tour bus in Sitka. By the time I realized it , the bus had left and the ship was sailing. We called the Tribal Tours people who said they had given the jacket to the harbor master. Even though they are not in the lost and found business, going beyond the call of duty, the harbor master saw to it that that the jacket will be returned to me. Thank you very much.

1991 Great place to moor overnight. The harbor master was a really good guy. The town was great. Great sea food, fresh as it comes.
