Driver Dave was there 3 hours later (we are over an hour away).

Extremely disappointed in the response from the individual who took my call. Been a long time customer and expected more from Sierra Propane.

Been trying to get ahold of someone all afternoon to verify if their driver is going to deliver propane. They ran our family out over the weekend and have zero sense of urgency. Kinda funny since I’m on their monthly payment plan and they have zero issues withdrawing money from my account.

They are hard to speak to a live person. I leave a message and I might get a text response back.
The start a new account fees are expensive. I had to pay over $100 for a safety inspection then I was required to fill the tank and pay in full for the first visit. I still have not been able to set up a payment plan.

For two supplying periods I had Sierra propane, I have a dog so I need to be present to let them in for my thir tank fill up. For three times they did not show up, did not bother to let me know. I called Valley propane, they have showed up for my 6th fill up on time. When I told Sierra propane to not come back, the manager offer to give me a discount after the fact that they have stood me up thee times. I told him I will think about it.

I am no longer a customer with Sierra Propane. I asked the manager of my area to switch a smaller tank with a much larger one and to refill the other 2 that I have bringing it to a total of 3 tanks. He stated that he was not interested in doing so. I would have been having a fill up of 1-500 gallon tank plus 2-250 gallon tanks and he stated it was not in the best interest of the company. I asked him if I could purchase a 500 gallon tank and he said he could but that it would be about double the rate for that size. I told the area manager that he was forcing me to go to a competitor and he said "do what you need to do". I went to Suburban Propane and they treated me like a client/customer. Suburban gave me 3 tanks at a reduced price, pumped out the propane I paid for from Sierra, and for each tank I rented they gave me 50 free gallons for every 50 gallons I purchased. Sierra then sent me a bill for tank rental 3 times even though our contract had ended. Sierra also took 24 days to pick up their tanks even after numerous calls. In this economy, I am surprised to see a blatant disregard for keeping good paying clients. We have had Sierra coming to this property for over 7 years. I contested one billing over a year ago because there was no description of the charges. When pressed as to why I was being sent a bill, the area manager gave me a host of possibilities as to why. I paid the non descript billing only because the weather was changing. I live in the Mariposa area of California and have called for a top off because my main tank was down to 20% and the area manager told me to call back when it gets to half that. I would give Sierra only one star but Nicki? the receptionist was kind and patient on the phone.

I ordered 100 gallons of propane , since my tank was empty and not at 5% like I had told them a week prior. They had to put more propane with out me knowing then they locked it so I won't be able to use it till I pay the additional $150 that I don't have.. I'm currently jobless and struggling. This happens yesterday it's going to be another week of no hot meals and cold showers for my four kids.
