- [ ] On July 23,2019, I contacted them to look at my electric gates.
- [ ] The cost for them to come out was $150., to be credited toward their labor
- [ ] Alex the part owner stated the $150 will go towards labor Should further service be needed. Alex determined that the sensor needed to be replaced. As the system is new and under warranty, we ordered the replacement. Efraim ( the other owner) came out and placed in the new sensor. He soon realized that the issue was not the sensor, but the mother board. Efraim stated that they carried a mother board, which could be replaced for $450. We reminder him of the warranty to the unit. He assured us that he would call the manufacturer to either have them guide him in repairs or he would have a new unit ordered. Again he stated that he had the board but it would cost $450. Well, it’s been two weeks since hearing from he or his brother. I have attempted 5 calls to Alex, 7 to Efraim, 3 calls to the company office and 2 texts to all. No courtesy calls returned. I write on behalf of my cousin, because she is 84 years old, recently widowed, extremely vulnerable and is VERY UPSET. It is clear to us all that this company’s only interest is to take advantage of the elderly. The end results are she paid $150 for Sierra Custom Metal to come out and say the obvious “ the system doesn’t work”.

Please think twice before utilizing their services. Total disappointment.

I originally hired this company to put in an automatic gate and key pad. Later I had them come in and install another key pad, on another gate. I was happy with their work and referred them to a friend of mine who hired them for a very large and expensive job. I initially dealt with emphran.

About two weeks ago I called emphram and informed him that my key pad had been hit by a car and requested them to come out to repair it at my expense. I was told they would send some one out in four days. After they didn't show and didn't call I called and left at least 6 messages with no response. I also contact their office , spoke with a lady, and told them of my request with no response. She advised me that she would pass the info on. No apology, just that she would give the info to Empheram. After two more days with no response, I left at least three more messages. Finally I received a call from a man whose name I think was Alex. When I told him of my frustration, he informed me that they don't do small jobs, because they have to do big jobs only, to pay for their employees and their insurance. I advised him as a former owner of a business I have never heard of a business person say something so asinine and stupid. I also told him that I had not only hired them for three jobs but also had gotten them a big contract. I was told that after the 90 day warranty is over they don't come out and do repairs. After all of this, he said, Okay, I will make an exception for you and send someone out on Friday July 19th. The day I was told this was on July 15th. Today is the 30th and They have not come out nor have they called. Bottom line use at your own risk. May I add this is the first time I have ever made a negative review on any business. These people customer service is horrible, and potential customers need to know.

The easy way Initially would have to just get someone else, but It was a matter of principle, that someone I had been a valued customer too, would be treated like this.

To say the least I was shocked and told them that there would come a day he would not have so much business that he would regret making such a statement. I also told him that if he disclosed this to new customers that they would be reluctant to use them. The friends I referred this company to who gave them a large at my suggestion, informed me that after their gat was installed, they were having problems with the gate called them numerous times with no response. They eventually had to hire another company to do the repair.

I would not ever recommend this company to do anything. The arrogance showed by them is unbelievable.
