Our 54th AZA accredited zoo, it was on the smaller size with a small collection of exhibits focusing on North America and domestic species. The peccary, black bear, river otter, and bush dogs were the most active the day we visited. Caught the river otter feeding, always fun to see/ learn at a feeding. Nice to see them acknowledge their uncomfortable past and you can really see the effort put into the new exhibits (black bear especially) as they continue to make the place better for their animal ambassadors and human visitors. Small gift shop.

Great place for kids. Many animals like Bear, Llama and many more. Lot of birds and a perfect place for the kids to enjoy. Calm and quiet with a cute and nice gift shop, this place is a must visit. To add on to that is the Redwood Skywalk which is enjoyable for any age group. 5/5

This is a nice zoo perfect for a family to spend a few hours in the area. We were impressed for it being a smaller zoo the amount of animals. My kids loved the way this zoo was set up made it easy to navigate. The walkway through the trees definitely was one of the highlights here and my kids giggled and smiled the entire way. Made for great memories and some nice photos.

Small zoo but animals are up close. The Redwood Skywalk was amazing!! Totally with a stop. The park was not busy at all on a Tuesday morning.

Skywalk was really fun and high up.
There are quite a few animals who are very fun to look at. They also look like they are well taken care of.
I loved the trees around it; usually zoos are hot and sunny, but there was plenty of shade and lots of tall trees around it. Very unique!

This is a nice park to spend some time with while you are in Eureka. The tickets are a little steep for what the zoo has to offer but I understand that it is not cheap to run a zoo of any scale.
They have bears, monkeys, flamingos, bald eagles etc. but the main attraction here is the sky walk.
It is a unique experience to see the redwoods up close and at such height.
