Not happy that they did not listen when I asked for our shipment to deliver this fall. Instead it shipped in middle of a HOT summer. That said the tour and wine tasting was worthwhile and great experience I just hope the $$$$ we spent buying their product is not spoiled upon delivery.

We wished the wine tour was a bit more educational for folks who are not sophisticated wine drinkers like us and would want to know more. The cave tour is interesting but I wish Jeff talked more about the flavors of each wine we’re tasting. Overall it’s a good experience but not entirely what we hoped for.

We had a delightful wine tasting experience at Schramberg! Super knowledgeable staff, beautiful garden, delicious bubbles, and hundreds of thousands of aging champagne bottles... If you don't know how champagne or sparkling wine is made, the tasting tour is both educational and exceptional! I loved how they preserved certain historical artifacts, showed photos from the 1800s when the winery was first built, and also the fact that the cave was carved to turn into a winery. But don't let me spoil all the cool stuff you will learn.
The only thing missing was some cheese/crackers at a 9 am tasting!

I chose Schramsburg winery because of the cave experience. What I didn’t expect was how much I would enjoy each glass of sparkling wine l sampled on the tasting tour. Jesus, our group’s guide was very knowledgeable on the history, riddling, length of time in the cave and even more. I walked away from the tasting with two bottles of Brut Rose and several ideas for food pairings. What a great experience!

We chose Schramsberg because we wanted something different and wow we were floored. If you’re going to do this winery, do the cave tour and tasting. The science
And level of detail and history packed into that your is wonderful. Our tour guide, Mr. T, was great! I loved the story about the Black Forest wine barrels won back by a card game. Leads me to wonder, is the owner up for a game of Euchre… just for one ?.

Spent a lovely hour with Wine Educator Tom and tasted five delicious sparkling wines in an open shaded area. I had a lot of fun, tasted some terrific wines and bought several to take home for a birthday party. The hospitality here is 1st class and very gracious. I will return. I recommend!

We had scheduled a tasting and tour of the caves but by the time we got there we had had... let us say a few too many. So we opted just for the cave tour and we were blown away! So different from every other experience in Nampa. You must add this to your itinerary.
