This place is my go-to in SF. Meat quality is incredible and their sandwiches are such a hidden gem (salami sandwich pictured). Have never had anything bad from here and all the employees are knowledgeable and friendly.

Love this butcher. They also have incredibly sandwiches. They were a bit pricy, but the quality and size was well worth it. Ended up having it for 2 meals. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and just seems like a great crew. Both the meatball and salami sandwiches were unreal.

Best butcher shop in San Francisco. I bought four of these Wagyu boneless New York steaks to make the best steak au poivre (pepper steak) for family and friends, and they were simply amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!

Great variety of beef, pork, chicken parts they cut Mary’s whole chickens into parts very fresh, small variety of lamb , shanks, racks , legs, probably the best sandwich around , great selection of dry goods you can’t find anywhere else, I love there salmon portions in the freezer section, and pork belly and rib eye wafer thin also in freezer section , happy 1st anniversary SF meat co , a neighborhood gem for sure

I got French garlic sausages today, however, those were absolutely not French garlic sausages! Our mouths are still full of clove and star anise… I wonder if they were incorrectly labeled. Quite disappointed as we’ve been buying meat since they started their business, and I liked this place.
