Jeff and his son, Magnus, were amazing! They were super knowledgeable with the island and more importantly with the fish! We were cranking in all kinds of fish and they were helping us all the way! They were fun, energetic and helped us learn how to fish.
The boat had room inside for us to sit while we hopped from spot to spot to stay warm and dry, and the stern had plenty of room for us and ALL our 500+ lbs of fish. It was a bonus that it had a bathroom too!
I love that it’s a family business and his children are learning the trade.
We will use Jeff again for our company trips and would recommend them to anyone!

Fishing with Jeff was a great experience. He is an avid fishermen who loves getting his clients on the fish. He is constantly evaluating the conditions to determine what is the best strategy to catch fish. You will not be disappointed in booking a trip with him.

Wow, what a day on the water. Met Captain Jeff at the dock. He was on time with a super clean boat. We were on the fish within 45 of leaving the harbor. Captain Jeff has much knowledge of the fish and the fishery. He also cares about the ecology of the ocean. We limited on kings in about 1.5 hrs. Tried to catch some monster Halibut but that was not in the cards for our day. We hooked our limit of good eaters though which is more important. We hooked into 7 different types of fish. My son and I had sore arms from reeling in fish. He gave us greenhorns plenty of tips to keep the fish on. Filled our freezer to the brim. Great experience, cant wait to be back. Great Job Cap'n.

There is no better outfitter on the island. Fun for a whole family or just a guys trip. The boat is clean and comfortable. Captain Jeff’s fish knowledge and knowledge of the water makes for a great catching experience. He shows a genuine enthusiasm about putting clients on big fish fast, but is mindful of the weather. If you want to make great memories book with salmoncrazy.

I recently booked a trip with Captain Jeff out of Kodiak Ak and had a blast. I’m a life long Alaskan and have fished on numerous fishing charter boats throughout Alaska. All I can say if you are looking for someone that will put you on fish Jeff is the guy. If you are coming to Alaska to have your dream fishing trip SalmonCrazy Adventures won’t disappoint. 2 days fishing never was a dull moment.

Jeff runs a great fishing charter. Super comfy 26ft ship with a separate private bathroom (super important when bringing the wife). Most of all, Jeff knows where the lunkers hang out and we were hooking up all day long with salmon, cod, lingcod and other tasty treats. It was the most fun trip I’ve had and the crew was super attentive. We dropped off the fish directly at the processing facility and picked up a few days later. We can’t wait to come back and go fishing with Salmoncrazy next year.

Captain Jeff puts you on fish!! He’s punctual and constantly in pursuit of locating fish. He’s straightforward and doesn’t sugarcoat anything. So bring your big boy pants and be ready to reel up fish. If you lose a fish, you’ll know it. 😂 All for fun of course.
