Love this store! Im from out of town and could not believe the friendliness if the staff! Store is clean, good size aisles and very helpful staff! If you cant find it ask they’re willing to help you!

I would like to share my recent experience at this particular Safeway location, which has been quite inconsistent. On some occasions, I have received excellent service from friendly staff who remember me, while other times, I have not even been greeted by the cashiers.

Today, my experience was particularly frustrating, and I want to express my concerns in hopes of seeing improvements in service. I visited the store to return an item that I had previously inquired about, specifically regarding its return policy due to it being a perishable item on clearance. I was assured by a cashier that I could return it. Unfortunately, my son had a severe allergic reaction to the product, prompting my visit. (Picture is attached for references)

While I understand that Safeway is not responsible for the manufacturing of the item, the handling of my return was less than satisfactory. The cashier's initial comments were dismissive, and I felt pressured to justify my situation. Despite having called ahead to confirm that a digital receipt would be acceptable, I was met with skepticism. The cashier eventually took the matter to the store manager, who allowed the return as a one-time exception, but I would have appreciated a more courteous approach throughout the process.

Today my son Joshua and I went to our coolidge safeway. A huge shout out to a employee named Jamie. I didn't understand how to use the digital app but she helped me and I got some great savings. She had the prettiest smile and best attitude. The store is clean and everyone is actually friendly and helpful. I'm a very happy customer.

I’ve been to this location for years most of the time the cashier I get there friendly but my cashier tonight Francesca is Rude texting before scanning my item have bad attitude in hurry I don’t think she appreciate her job or the customers I hope she’ll get more training to improved her customer service towards customers and not to be rude.

Still too expensive. And there are multiple pharmacy issues I have experienced. The bright note I got some good buys in fresh produce.

This Safeway , I am sure has its hard workers. But, the bakery smells horrible. I am left with no words to describe the sanitary issues I feel when I also walk in and the food already made is right there open. As if COVID was not horrible enough, let alone food causing stomach issues. Also, the pace the cashiers move is just mind blowing. I seriously felt like handling costumers myself. I have been to small towns where people know each other , and I have NEVER had to stand in line with only one person in front of me for 20 mins!!!! And there was about 10 items this person had.HORRIBLE check out pace. They need to speed it up a little, especially if we are shopping at 8pm , we just wanna get it moving. I did not get the cashiers name, but she is slow and sassy.

If you use good RX I don’t recommend using Safeways pharmacy. Switched my RX to Safeway to utilize the $75 promotion for groceries. It’s not actually $75 it’s only $25. Also switched my RX because good RX showed it was $3. Go to purchase my RX and the pharmacy is saying they cannot honor that price due to an issue with good RX’s system and was told by the pharmacist to call good RX to get it fixed. Called good RX who called the pharmacist that told her they don’t honor good RX coupons and refused to assist the good RX rep to remedy the situation. Waste of time! Why lie to me what was the point? Wasted my time and my money. If the pharmacist would’ve been honest I would’ve switched back to Fry’s (which I’ll be doing anyway) at least they honor the prices and promotions they post. Would’ve cost half the price of what I paid had I have stayed with fry’s. Ended up paying 6 times what I would’ve paid with Fry’s.
