We met our guide Dalton at our location and he was awesome. He was funny, knowledgeable and friendly. His dogs were well trained and his skinning and quartering skills were top notch. I was able to skin and quarter my own hog under his supervision. Great experience.

My wife and I had a very good hunt with our guide. Dogs were well trained and the guide treated them well also. Everything was on time and guide did an excellent job of skinning out animal. He was great to talk to and visit with.

Pre-booking: The website was amazingly detailed and also hilarious. The FAQs were so helpful when choosing to use Ron's
Guide Service.

Booking: With one phone call my Hog Hunt was booked with ease. Received a confirmation email and an email before and after my hunt.

Arrival: The guide came right over and introduced himself, he was friendly as could be. Once inside we sign waivers, talked weapons, asked a few questions and listened to a few helpful tips from our guide.

THE HUNT: was a blast! We had so much fun talking and laughing while scouting the hogs! Our guide had wonderful buggy driving skills while the hogs were on the run! We were both able to kill a hog.

Once back: Pictures were taken, the hog was skinned in no time. Settling up was as expected there were NO hidden fees!!

Did a hog hunt with Rons Guide Service on the 18th of February. Met our guide Dalton in the pouring rain. After signing our waiver forms we set out for our journey. Took about 30 minutes and Daltons two dogs were chasing a pig. Pig got away but the dogs were on the scent again and cornered a pig in the thickets. Let him go as my nephew didn't have a good shot. Abouth 25 minutes later the dogs cornered a sow and two of her grown piglets against the fence. My nephew was able to get a clean shot and killed a 150 pound pig. Although it poured down rain the entire hunt we had a fantastic hunt. Our guide Dalton was very pleasant and well mannered. He skinned the hog and cut it up within minutes. Went on a alligator hunt with these guys (6-9 foot $1500). Arrived at camp everything was pleasant. We entered the ranch and starting hunting right at 2:00. Keep in mind there was no explanation to me (the hunter) and my 5 family members of how we would hunt, the plan, where to shoot an alligator, etc. 100 yards from the entrance gate to the property was a small pond, the size of your average home swimming pool. With no immediate sighting of an alligator in this pond the two guides just started throwing hooks in. My brother asked the guides, “how do you know if the right size gator is in there?”. The response was “we know”, odd. 10 minutes after the hunt started the guides snagged a gator. They did everything and pulled this gator up to the bank, it put up little to no fight. With no explanation of where to shoot a gator the guides had me shoot it on the bank. At 2:23 I pulled the trigger on this small gator and our hunt concluded. The gator was exactly 6ft, the minimum size we paid for. Absolutely no effort was made to even look for a larger gator. In conclusion, I payed $1500 for a 30lb gator, a 23 minute hunt, where I did nothing. Unfortunately I brought family members along who don’t hunt. Now their entire view of hunting is just killing 2 year old alligators in a barrel. This is commercial hunting at its finest and I will never return and support this in the future.

No one showed up!! Booked ahead even called 2 days prior to confirm! Made 3 phone calls during our 2 hour wait in a hot car waiting for someone to show up!! Came all the way from Ohio to hunt!! 80lbs of ice wasted and whole trip a waste, only to be told had problem with the dogs! No apology no phone call after wouldn't answer phone. Woke up this morning to a refund on email. Not professional at all. Do not suggest using them. This is in a cow pasture in the middle of nowhere. Don't waste your money!!!!
