Exceptionally gorgeous furniture for a very reasonable price, considering the high quality. Two bureaus were just delivered to my home, and they are even more beautiful than I remembered! They were custom-ordered, so I could have them made in the desired wood and finish. What a treat to have been able to actually see what I was buying, in a brick and mortar store, before purchasing. I found some beautiful counter stools that are modern, beautifully crafted, reasonably priced, and so much easier on my wood floors than the metal ones I bought at a major online retailer (you know which one). See photos including the metal base ones that were scratching up my floor. Its also great to shop local where you can actually see and feel the furniture piece.

Roe & Co is a fantastic furniture store with a focus on mission style furniture. Everything is handmade, and beyond beautiful. Over the years we have collected several pieces from their standard lines, including a dining set and a computer desk. We have also had a couple of custom pieces made, and Dan has been exceptional about working with us on the details. Everything has been top-notch, solid as a rock, and perfectly finished. I like that the furniture is made by local craftsmen, and is real wood. It's nice to be a part of keeping the skillset alive. Buying from Roe & Co feels like supporting the arts. Go visit, you'll be glad you did.

The nicest furniture store in Petaluma, with an emphasis on custom-made furniture. We've had 3 pieces made for our home by the craftsmen here and are delighted with them. The shop is worth visiting, even if just for inspiration. Most furniture stores in Sonoma County feature poorly-made, mass-manufactured imports. Expect something different here. Instead of particle board bookcases, cabinets and hutches that will fall apart, you'll be investing in real wood, beautifully designed and finished with hardware of your choice. The owner is an expert in the Arts-and-Crafts style, and offers beds, chairs, cabinets, tables and more. Wait times for custom furniture can be long, because the company's work is so desirable, and pricing isn't cheap, but it's reasonable for the labor involved. Basically, a purchase from Roe & Company is an investment in quality, and there are few other furniture stores left in the area that actually have quality to offer, no matter what your budget. We love supporting small, local businesses like this instead of the dreaded Walmarts and Targets that have turned once-vibrant local business scenes into commercial deserts, with nothing on offer but cheap imports.
